I would urge caution because you never really know who anyone is, and most peeps on CAG like to keep their anonymity, especially if DCAs etc are trying to locate them. That said, quite a few are on FB too, including me, but I tend to stick to family and friends.

You have made a valid point. I believe the CAG meets are not as prominently shown as they could be. We can always help with explaining journey if you need.

Of all the bars in all the .....

 

I am definitely brassed off over the date as it is the sole weekend that I have visitors (from overseas so not negotiable).

 

A small point I would offer is - why not a lunch type meeting then poor beggars like me could get down and back in the day and rich ones would have additional drinking time.

 

I am in Nottingham so look forward to the day when CAG does a field trip to crapone. I will put the kettle on ready;)

Nottingham was last October, lol. Keep an eye on the CAG meet forum, or you could always set up a thread and get one going.

I have a number of CAG friends on there. I only invite established proven CAG members though. This avoids any lurking DCA wannabee's finding out who is under the gingerbread man costume. As long as you're careful, then there's nothing to worry about.
