Yeah Court Bailiffs are always busyI know one of the St.Helens ones-they are far more lenient than private Bailiff firms and will usually try to persuade businesses to sort the payment out over the phone before they go on a visit.

I reckon you could be looking at a week before you have the dosh.

Sparky called me today-just asking about visa stuff-during the conv he told me he had been whacked with over 200 quids worth of Lloyds charges recently.

I have suggested he get on here and get a claim in ASAP.

I filed Johns today for Lloyds too-FOS complete waste of space....8 months of messing around.

Still it should pay for his trip to Odessa-just over 4k

Well the Bailiffs went in and Vertex paid up, costs plus the Bailiffs fee I received my cheque Friday.

 

I have not heard much from the IC's office, but they say that my complaint has now been assigned to a case officer. They go on to say they have a huge back log of complaints however.

Yes they are not kidding-if its been assigned to a case officer they are likely now to be awaiting a response from Vertex.

The usual procedure is to then look at their response-and contact you again-either for more info from you or else more from them.

These things used to be sorted in a matter of weeks-but these days its months.
