thats me filled in my spread sheet i have taken out the colummn for interest (is this correct) because i am only sending the amount due along with the preliminary letter.

My total amounts to £2,761.00 but as we are only allowed to claim for £750.00 at a time in Scotland do i send the full amount or do i send 3 different letters asking for £750.00 until i get the amount due. I have 4 different accounts with the BOS but i am only dealing with one account at a time, Is this the right thing to do or should i claim for all accounts at once.

i know that i ask stupid questions that have already been answered but i am quite anxious about claiming all this money back and don't want to muck up or anything.

Thanks again for the help and support that i am receiving from all you guys and i hope that i am using the threads the way the should be used and not mucking the forum up.

Hey Dawnb, it appears that you have been reading the correct parts of this forum, and seem to be collecting and storing all the relevant data .....lol....as for claim amount, i can only give advice based on my claims...i sent all letters prior to claim asking for full amount, but my LBA i added a paragraph to state that i would be submitting claims in £750 chunks rather than claiming for them individually....that way i put across that i am making best use of money and resources by claiming several charges together and not having to 'split' the total claim into smaller chunks to avoid court costs etc...it worked for me and several others on here, but the as they say on TV..."the choice is yours"

Your other point about having several accounts and dealing either seperately or at the same time.....i would probably opt for the together option, due to the fact that if you concentrate on one account, that say takes several months to completion, you are in effect losing out on claiming these several months back from other claims ie Scottish limitation is 5 years, so if you started them all today then you could claim back from July 2001, however if you wait on the outcome of first claim, then it may knock a couple of months from others accounts. However it could also get complicated having several claims ongoing at the same time, knowing which stage each is at etc.....but if you are an organised person then it shouldn't be a problem......

If you need any help let me know,
