I have paid it off in one go and putting it down to bad experiance!

Did you have any charges on the account, ie for late payment, default, telephone calls, etc?

 

If so, you can claim them back. I did but only started the process once I'd received the log-book back and confirmation that my account was repaid.

Yes I did have a few default payments, I have my log book and a letter stating payment has been made.

 

Can you pm me as to how this is done?

Hi Dave - do you have a statement of account from them detailing exactly what was paid and what charges they added?? If not, you need to contact them and request a statement of account.

Dave - did you ever get your statement of account??

 

You can claim back the charges they have put on the account - they're not on hold like the bank charges!!
