Not sure that I would want to do this as it would bolster their claims that charges meet manual intervention costs. However, the relevent provision is found in the DPA S.12

Preventing Automated Decision-Making

As an individual you have the right under Section 12 of the Data Protection Act 1998 to prevent decisions being taken solely on the basis of the automatic processing of your personal information, which significantly affects you.

You also have the right to be notified, as soon as reasonably possible, if the data controller has made a decision based solely on automatic processing of your personal information which has significantly affected you.

It can be found in full here http://www.ico.gov.uk/documentUploads/6%20Data%20Protection%20Act%20Preventing%20Decisions%20Based%20on%20Automatic%20Processing.pdf
