Got involved on behalf of a family member who's account with the above has always been conducted correctly.

 

A fraudelent transaction for £275, conducted offshore appeared on July statement. They got on the phone to them - nothing happened, so then wrote, no reply after 3 weeks.

 

Told them to write again, "You have not responded, etc". - nothing.

 

14 days later, sent formal complaint & LBA, special delivery. Statement came through 10 days later showing a refund. At no time have they acknowledge the complaint, responded by letter or even a phone call.

 

OK, they got their money back, but this is how they treat their 'good' customers?

 

I'm not going to spend anymore time on it but Jeez, I wouldn't deal with them anymore.

If you make a mistake, the finance companies will nail you to the wall and scream loudly as they do so

If they make a mistake, they will remain faceless and silent.

 

At least the money was sorted, the customer service aspect you can judge by moving banks and writing a snotty letter telling them why.

 

No doubt you'll receive one of their "Sorry you are leaving us" letters
