Hi all firstly this isn't my first post here i had to start a new account as i couldn't get access will my old one.

I've read a little and can't find what's the best thing to do.

I have already dealt with my bank before the FSA halted all claims, but it is yet to be resolved, my bank (Woolwich) did not send my anything to say the claim had been halted so i'm wondering what to do the last letter they sent said they would be closing the case within 8 weeks from the 21st June 2007 soit should have been stopped by the FSA.

I have worked through the templates from this site and even have a letter from Woolwich saying

'The charge letters are automatically sent out the dayafter a charge is incurred. There is no manual inervention made on these letters.'

It goes on to answer a few other questions i asked them.

Should i send a letter to them saying as i understand the claims where halted i expect the claim to be restarted on the 26th????? or maybe send them a letter asking for my claim to be settled.

Thanks for your thoughts

Hi, dsmithett.

Continue with your claim, stick to your timetable not theirs.

If all you've sent them is your prelim letter, you should now send them your Letter Before Action, giving them 14 days to settle your claim, if after the 14 days they have not complied, Issue your N1 at your local county court.

They will stall you as much as they can, don't let them. It's your money.

Regards.

Scott.
