I know this was posted some time ago but i actually work for comet and know this story well.

 

The "customer" bought the tv and his intentions were to put the tv on the wall but didnt buy the correct items to put it on the wall i.e a bracket.

 

Instead he put fastened two peices of wood to his wall and sat the tv on the peices of wood and didnt actually secure the tv to the wall. And it fall off.

 

It was installed badly and was not covered under warranty or extra warranty.

 

He went on a rampage and after the second time he went in smashing TV's up the police had to smash the windows of his car outside the store to get him out to arrest him

Think how much less it would have cost him if he had bought the brackets :lol:
