what a load of horse sh*t..................carry on! don't let the buggers grind you down!

I know I feel like just giving up at times as it's took since April for mine to get to the stage it's at, but then all that time and effort I've put in would go to waste, plus all the people on here who have helped me I'd feel I was lettting them down too, so stick with it!

Hi Karn

with change of solicitors I sent a message to DLA Piper and got the following reply (my message shown below their reply)

I suppose we now sit and wait once again wonder why the change ?

Should I be doing anything else as per your previous message or should I just hope they cough up before hand ?

Dear Mr Hughes

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that DLA Piper will no longer be dealing with Abbey's Bank

Charge Cases. Another firm of solicitors will be receiving the details

of each ongoing matter, which will include yours. They will be

informing the court that they are now representing Abbey for these

matters, and should be sending you a copy of the Notice in due course.

I'm afraid I do not have the details to give you at this time.

I am aware that your hearing is now scheduled for 15 November 2006, but

please be assured your matter will be given due attention by the new

firm of solicitors.

Your sincerely

Rebecca Beecroft

-----Original Message-----

Dear Sirs

It would seem, if rumour is to be believed, that DLA Piper are no longer

dealing with Abbey claims can you please confirm this ?

If this is correct can you please forward details of they new

representation

?

Will cases which are under way continue with yourselves ?

Have you any further details of the position of Abbey with my own claim

as I have today received details of my Court hearing date?.

This may seem like a stupid statement but I will say it anyway

I am due to appear in court on 15th of Nov , I havent yet heard from any other solicitors so I am assuming all will simply carry on as previous ?

Should I expect and be prepared to attend ?

or will Shabbey just not turn up ?

Does that mean that my hearing is not the proper hearing just a question and answer ceremony ?

Do you know who is the closest to attending court at the present time ? as I would like to follow their threads ?

Is anyone due in court soon do you know ?

under the new solicitors ?

As I would like to follow their threads why havent I been asked for my case details ?

should I be creating a fuss and trying to push procedures on ?

id say go with the flow, it is maddening when thy seem to have no system ( they pay out some people on one letter others go to the wire as you put it) get ready in your head for court, get everything requested by the court ready and in on time ( if there has been anythign requested) and expect to turn up. when abbey then crumble and throw wads of money at you you can just take it and smile. if they dont then you can look the judge in the eye and tell your story. that is all the need form you, they are as eager to get thjis to court as you are, in fact the only ones who dont want ot be there are the banks. keep your chin up, i have just filed papers on abbey so i wont expect them to rush to pay me off and keep it out of court then  what a farce!
