  1. hi all, I am new in this site and hope i am in the right place. I wanted help with a refund from skills train. I enrolled on 2008 with skills train but didnt complete the course because i hardly got any reply from the tutor and it just didnt work for me. But they made me pay the whole amount eventually with monthly installments. i've already paid full amount as of date. I recently found that i could get refund from Skills Train after reading some posts so i am asking if someone can guide me on this please. I have still got all the course materials and the receipts that i was given from them. Please if anyone out there wants to help me i will much appreciate this. Thanks for reading this post.
  2. Hi Guys, I made a HUGE mistake in thinking I could get away with a manufactured ticket as I have been facing money problems. I always buy a weekly train pass when I have meetings at Warwick but decided not to on this occassion and simply manufctured my own (such a stupid idea). I was travelling from Leamington to Wolverhampton (£18 fare at best) I got caught and after asking the train guy to fine me on the spot he decided to take my details and send off to the rails company. I am so stressed as I am already being made redundant from work and now I face the possibility of going to caught for Fraud! Has anyone faced a case like this and what was the outcome? I have never committed any crime before and I regret this offence 100% although I know that this isn't going to change what I have done. I havent yet received anything but after reading a few stories I am absolutley bricking it! Any help or advice would be great!
  3. Yesterday, I came from Bournemouth to Plymouth. I had to go to Southampton and then to Bath. No problems with the journey to Southampton and the journey to Bath was delayed by 7 minutes. (not an issue) I then got to Bath and the train was delayed by one hour. We were never updated with what was going on. The train was absolutely packed and there were no reservations on seats. Having spent Sunday running some 13 miles, I really didn't appreciate being forced to stand on a train. Thankfully, I only had to stand from Bath to Bristol. I did write something on the FGW Facebook page and their response was: "Sorry we were unable to reply yesterday, we were extremely busy. We were putting out many updates on our Twitter page, on our website and at stations, but I am sorry if you were unable to access this information. Severe signalling problems meant that many services were disrupted yesterday, with many being cancelled. Because of this, we were unable to put out seat reservations and the trains that were running were very crowded. Sorry for this." I've looked at whether I can get compensation for this, (I had to get a taxi home @ £5 because no-one could pick me up due to the trains running late) and there's a bit that confuses me: It asks how much you paid for your ticket. I paid roughly £43. But the first 2 train were south west (?) and the third and final train was FGW, which was delayed by an hour. So, what do I write on the form for how much I paid? The full amount and then sent all tickets off?
  4. My son got on a train to Euston failed to tap in his Oyster card as he was late for work whilst on the train realised he had left his wallet at home . He got off at Euston and tried to explain the situation to one of the ticket officers who immediately sent him over to the ticket police . He was interviewed for an hour during the interview admitted to not tapping in his Oyster card at bushey station for 2 weeks therefore saving him £4 per journey . The officer interviewing him remarked that he had been very helpful with his information said he would be passing his information on and he would get a fine but not a criminal conviction . A few weeks later he received a letter asking him to verify that he was the person in question . He signed the letter and sent it back . Today he has been sent a court summons . He would like to avoid a criminal conviction but knows that a hefty fine will be payable .. . Any advice .?.
  5. I booked train tickets for the same train (23:30) on 4 successive Fridays and opted to pick up my tickets at Kings Cross station. On the first Friday I forgot my ticket reference and was suprised to find the ticket office shut and I later discovered Kings X shuts all ticket offices at 22:00 but there is an excess ticket window that doubles up as an out of hours ticket office. On that occasion I boarded the train without my tickets and the inspector agreed to look at my online booking (I don't have internet enabled phone but train has wifi and I had my laptop). I turned up at the station on the 4th and final Friday to pick up my tickets for the 23:30, and got an "unable to issue tickets at this time" message. I went to the excess ticket window expecting to give my credit card and get my tickets. Instead the officer asked for my booking reference, I gave it to him. He correctly quoted my destination and told me that my tickets had been printed in the machine. I thought this meant that he had just printed them. I went back and searched all the ticket machines - no ticket. It was now almost departure time and it was the last train so I hurried and got on. The ticket inspector asks for my ticket I explain that I don't have it. She says she will accept an online booking reference. No problem says I and log on with wifi on my laptop and then to my horror I find that the 4th of the 4 journeys had been booked on an earlier train more expensive train (and I dispute it was my error but it is moot anyway). I hadn't noticed because I was sent 4 different confirmations and had just checked the dates. They were all supposed to be for the 23:30. The long and short of it is I was issued an unpaid fare notice which I will dispute but I am prepared to file in small claims for. The reason is because I entered into a contract to pick up my tickets at Kings X and by reason of the ticket office being shut and the failure of out of hours window clerk to issue tickets I was not able to do so. Had I done so I would have realised the booking mistake before boarding and not gotten on the train and simply gone by coach the next day. The fare for the 23:30 was 13:30. The 4th ticket that was for an earlier train was 29.00 and the unpaid fare notice was 96.80. So I would be taking out a small claim for the recovery of at least the 96.80. I'm interested in the legal aspect and the likelihood that the train company will show up to defend the small claim anyway. I have told this story before elsewhere and would like to mention that I am not a fare dodger or a threat to the train company's revenue. An honest error was made somewhere possibly by me although I would dispute that but it is not one that warrants punishing a fare paying customer in that way.
  6. I have recently been stopped using a child ticket on my return journey from london on the train and been told to wait for the train company to write to me about what further action is being taken. I am very worried as i hardly travel by train and strongly believed that as i am still in full time education i was entitled to the child fare (all other times i have been with family who have paid for me or been under 16) which i know now is not the case. as i never travel by train i am not confident using the ticket machines so went to the booth to make sure i was given the correct ticket for the journey that i wanted were i was issued with a child ticket and was not asked my age or for any id or informed of the age restrictions on a child ticket. i was not stopped leaving my station or arriving in london so was therefore still under the impression i had the right ticket. the next day once again i was able to go through the london barriers with the ticket to go home but once i reached my home station i saw a penalty notice that under 16s were not permitted travel on childs tickets and started to worry, as i went to the station the ticket barriers didnt let me through as i was the questioned by the staff their my age in which i started to panic and lied about my age but then when further questioned i admitted my real age and gave all my real details and was then read my rights and asked to sign a statement and to expect a letter through the post with no idea what outcome i might get from this, i want to do all i can to prevent getting a criminal record as i am due to go to university next year and i dont want this affecting my life and i have never done anything like this before, what should i do?
  7. Hi! I was on an late-night EMU leaving New St. at 2247, which normally arrives in time for me to catch the last 40 bus to Birchtree Hollow within 1/4 mile of where I live. However last night the train came to an abrupt halt in the middle of nowhere due to a total power failure (not wires down - I heard the driver say the pantograph and wires were fine!) and it was almost 1 in the morning before another unit came to propel us - it was like going home on the Ghost Train - no lights, motors, doors or anything! It is three-and-a-half miles from the station to where I live, much too far to walk, and happily, after some grumbling at the Station Master I was given a taxi fare! (They did lay on a connecting bus but the bus-driver said he wasn't allowed to stop anywhere but at the stations, and the first one was five miles from my home!) My question is, Should you be stranded late at night with no onward transport to within walking distance of your home or other destination due to breakdown of yours (or even another!) train, signalling/points faults, wires down, etc., etc., can a train company absolve themselves of all responsibility just because your destination is a long way from the destination station of the delayed service? How do you claim compensation and how much can you reasonably claim if you ***are*** unlucky enough to be stuck with a very long walk late at night - I wasn't last night but this ***has*** happened once before last night's incident and the T.C. offered no help on that occasion!
  8. i have used south west trains for many years and found that a lot of there staff are very rude, lazy and aggressive. i have been cheated in buying a ticket, i have been spoken to rudely and as if I'm a piece of sh*t, staff are lazy and don't know when the trains are going to arrive, or why there cancelled or delayed, i have even been dragged to one of the supervisors at waterloo station barriers because i didn't have a ticket by a young enthusiastic member of staff and was shouting to his superior while dragging me to I'm shouting (iv caught one i caught one) i had to explain that i could not buy a ticket because there was a power cut or something where the ticket off was closed, the machine was closed and i could not top up my oyster card or purchase a ticket because there was no power around the area, Has any one had any bad run ins with staff on south west trains??
  9. Morning I got a penalty fare for travelling without a ticket in January this year. The ticket machine at the station wasn't working. I took the charge and was told I could and should query it. I also bought a ticket to travel that day I got a fine of £20, plus the original ticket price of £23.80 I appealed, and was successful, but they then wanted to charge me the price of the ticket. I queried this on the penaltyfares.co.uk website as per the instructions but received an email advising that despite the above, both the original fare and an additional £20 charge (unexplained) are due and that no further discussions could take place So essentially, the independent appeals body which is wholly owned by the rail company, are saying: TOUGH. PAY IT What I'd like help with is where to go from here? There is a further, truly independent body called Passenger Focus, but they aren't able to affect the appeals decision I'm in the right here, and I'm not willing to roll over and pay this fine because someone decided I should. It's wrong But I don't know what else I can do? I have just received a FINAL DEMAND for £63.80 and there are no contact details other than the address they provide for sending payment into Can anyone help? I basically want to fight this Thanks in advance
  10. Hello, For the past nine years we have had trouble with different baliffs collecting on behalf of train and tram companies. It started with a baliff collecting for many unpaid tram fines in my husbands name in 2007. My husband did NOT accumulate these fines and had no idea where they came from. We had no correspondence of the orginal paperwork. Just what the baliff had in his hand. He suggested my husband do a stat dec on them and was very understanding. A few were actually referred back to court. My husband attended court and once the description of the person fined was read out it was quickly dismissed. The description however was the exact match to his brother His brother admitted using my husbands name and address on many occasions. We thought it was all over. We moved address and didnt think anymore of it. But Its been years and these baliffs kept coming. Some we paid as they didnt give enough time to complete a stat dec others gave us time to complete it. Its been nine long years of just wondering when the next door knock will come. This morning a baliff arrived stating he wanted £825 for avoidance of fares relating to 2005 and 2007. He has given us 24hours and if we do not pay hell be back with the police and a locksmith. We are at our wits end. Again its another day off for my husband and another day of ringing around courts. Is there anything we can do to stop this baliff and the locksmiths as we really do not have the money this time to stop them and not enough time to complete a stat dec. (Although my husband is trying) thank you
  11. Ok, I need to go to to London from Nottingham this Thurs/Fri. On East Midlands Trains website it says this: "Return tickets to London for £38 or less" http://www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/travelling-with-us/our-network/trains-to-london/ Ok, now I have been quoted from Nottm to London £17 one way, return journey I am getting stupid figures around £48-90 one way! The return tickets are coming in at over £120. The above prices are from 2 singles (even with their "best fare finder") - as you can see these figures are way out with their "£38 or less".... What is going on here? I drove to London twice before and back to Nottm on £40 worth of diesel. Moreover, I get my own personal space in the car, and dont have to stand around cramped at peak hours, or listen to some drunk rage at off peak times. I thought public transport was supposed to be cheap?
  12. Hi all. A month ago, me and a mate were caught trying to use a child's ticket despite being 17. We booked tickets in advance and I'd normally go for an adults ticket to save the potential hassle but I was needing some cash at the time so bought a child's ticket to save some money, what a terrible lack of foresight that has turned out to be. It was on a CrossCountry service between Birmingham and Doncaster when we got caught and as soon as the conductor started to doubt our age we owned up immediately. We then proceeded to get our cards out in anticipation of being able to upgrade to an adult ticket in a similar way as you can when upgrading an off peak ticket. The conductor told us this wasn't an option and took some details whilst assuring us there was no need to get British Transport Police involved, something that we'd seen happen with some fare evaders before. He then told us that the company would be in touch soon and advised us to pay the penalty as it wasn't worth the court appearance which we obviously realised anyway. Today I had a letter come through from CrossCountry to say that the case has been handed over to Transport Investigation Limited and they will be in contact after investigation. Now having read about it on the internet, I have become more worried of a court summon. I thought it was just going to be an expensive lesson and a large penalty would arrive on my doorstep, never did I think we could get taken straight to court. I have read on the CrossCountry website that they don't tend to prosecute people under 17.5 years which I was by a week but I guess that is clutching at straws a bit. Obviously I'd pay the hefty penalty if it came through because I don't want a criminal record for such a silly offence which could hamper uni and job applications. So the question is, being a first time offender, will I get a fine which I'll have to pay or is it conceivable that we could get summoned to appear in front of a magistrate for this and end up with a criminal record? Oh and I have now bought a railcard, it's a wonderful little thing and something I wish I'd invested in much sooner but we learn from our mistakes.
  13. During my Easter break (whilst at home from university) I boarded a train from Redcar to Middlesbrough, and with my railcard this journey was £2.30. Unknown to me at the time, my bank cards do not work offline, and so would not work in the train conductors card machine. I then filled out the appropriate paperwork with the intention of paying the fare by phone. I rang the northern rail payment service to pay the fare the next day and was informed by the lady on the phone that they had not received the bill yet, and that she would write it in the records that I had attempted to pay the fare. The next day I returned to university in London for my Summer exams, and consequently forgot all about the fare, and also received none of the reminder letters as they went to my home address in Redcar. On returning home from university I realised the time that I had to pay the fare had passed, and had a letter stating I needed to pay an £80 fine, or that I could appeal this fine. I appealed by post, and a few weeks later (when I was away for the week) northern rail rang my home number and a lady over the phone told my mum that I would receive a court date, when asked about the appeal the woman replied that they hadn't received an appeal, only to then say that she had fount it, but that the matter had gone too far now and they would take me to court. So my hearing is on the 8th November, and according to the letter I can either plead guilty and pay the £100 court cost or plead not guilty to fare evasion and attend a hearing and then a trial. So far my intention is to plead not guilty, as obviously I have attempted to pay the fare and to appeal the fine, and so pleading guilty to fare evasion seems unjust to me. But do you think I have a chance of winning the case? And if I attempt to would this end up costing me even more? Many thanks, Charis.
  14. Hi, I have disabilities not that it really matters in this case, but my son purchased a child ticket of £2.10 instead of adult £4.20 due to insufficient funds, he needed to get home to me quickly. The Collections Officer asked his name, age at first he did say he was younger, but panicked and said No I am sorry I am 18 but didn't have enough money for a adult ticket and need to get home to my mum. He was then asked his name and address and cautioned. By this time my son was in a real state and asked what it meant, the guy just chanted the caution again and said sign for your name and address and gave him slip of paper. All this before he even set foot on the train!. He was stopped at the barrier! Is this fair should you get taken to court before even being told you have to pay a penalty fine.
  15. Hi all, Does anyone know if it says anywhere that we are actually bound to accept an Unpaid Fare Notice when it is issued? I did not accept one and now have a letter through the post as if I did. DETAILS____ A month, or so, back I boarded a later train from Leeds to London after missing my train 10 mins before. The guard (forcefully) tried to hand me an Unpaid Fare Notice after it was clear I could not pay the inflated price for the service. I gave my proper details when asked and told the guard that I would not be accepting the UFN and that if they wanted to settle things they could send me a bill through the post - which I would then dispute. I did not accept the terms of the Notice and felt it had been misleadingly presented to me. origianal ticket was £69 --- UFN was £124. I would not have boarded the train had I known the price of the ticket + BTW the train was by no means full! I believe I have a case to argue but want to check that I was not obliged by law to accept the notice, there and then. I feel i'm in for the long haul with fighting this so want to start off well! Thanks in advance!
  16. So i was rushing to the DLR and didn't have time to top up as the train was about to depart. I got to the station and realized that i didn't have enough money to leave so i asked the man standing in the barrier that i had lost my card so that he could let me through. He took me to another gentleman wearing casual clothing and he told me where i came from and how did i pay for the fare, i panicked and said i borrowed fathers travel card in which he told me that travel cards were non transferable. He said he would let me go but wanted to take down my details just to put on the record as a sort of caution. I didn't trust his word so i gave him a wrong name, wrong door number and wrong year in my date of birth. He didn't verify the details and he read me my rights to silence which made me slightly suspicious but he said it was just for protocol and let me out of the barrier after warning me not to use anyone elses travel card. I'm a bit paranoid that they may be able to track me down through cctv or something. Was he telling the truth or was he trying to deceive me into giving my details and is it serious enough for them to pursue me?
  17. just another one drawn into this [problem],signed up 3 year ago to these cowboys, only phoned up a few week ago to change some details and ask why i could,nt access web site, received letter that weekend saying my course had finished??????????TAKE AS LONG AS YOU LIKE i was told. 18. in 2009 my job was not very good and i decided to look at alternative ways of making a living so i decided to sign up with trade 4 trade skill to do plumbing and was talked into doing level 2 and 3 as level included electrics and was told i should complete the course in about 18 months i finished level 2 last year and been trying to get onto level since febuary and they keep coming up with excuses and now i find out that city and guilds 6129 is useless i have paid £5800 for the course any way could i get even a partial refund thanks
  19. Hi, I am desperately hoping that someone out there can help me. My husband joined a plumbing course with train 4 trade skills in 2009 but since he could not get credit for the course I signed up for a £6000 loan with CDF to pay for it. We got divorced not long after this and I am still paying £135 a month to the loan company for this course even though I know my ex husband never even opened the course material or even sent in his initial registration card. I have none of the paperwork as he took it when he moved out. I have written to train 4 trade skills who say they can not discuss anything with me as it is not me who is registered on the course. Is there anything I can do or do I just need to continue paying the money every month until March next year? I talked to a solicitor and he said that since I signed the loan agreement it is down to me to just keep paying. Is this correct?
  20. I have a return to go up to London on Friday. On the "out ticket", it gives me a specific time and I have a reserved seat. It has 2 parts to it. (the seat reservation and the other part) This is where I'm confused: The return ticket has one part to it. When I booked the ticket, I specified that I want the 1106 from Paddington. The ticket just tells me it's valid until some time in August. Does this mean that I can catch an earlier train and is it right that I'm not meant to have a second ticket as mentioned above? I looked online (booked through Virgin) and it says that I booked the 1106 train and I have no reserved seat. Edit: Just checked again and it's a super off-peak. Is off-peak after 9am or 9.30am?
  21. Hi, I've read lots of other threads on here, but am new to posting (so bear with me). I recently parked in the train station at Chelsfield and received a parking "ticket" from Meteor. I know most on here will say just ignore everything and they will give up, but I would rather reply to minimise any stress from this issue at the moment. As background, I parked in the car park as I'm currently undergoing Chemotherapy for Cancer and needed to travel to London for a hospital appointment, due to my current health I don't have the fitness to park further away and walk as far (apparently though as i'm not physically disabled I don't qualify for a disability badge!!!). I did ask the guy in the station and he said he would keep an eye out for the parking warden and it would be fine, but I suspect he finished his shift before the warden came around. (I don't blame the guy, he was trying to do a good deed). Anyway the "ticket" is for £90 - I've missed the 14 day time frame to reduce the fee to £45 as I wasn't in any condition to do anything following another treatment for Chemotherapy. All the signage at the car park says is that parking in the car park means you agree with the terms and conditions of Meteor - pay and display car park. The ticket that was on the car is quite water damaged due to rain and the only legible part are the car details and time and location of the car at the time, most of the rest of the ticket have washed away - is this a point I can dispute the fine? I've searched and the details needed to be shown on the ticket are readable, all their terms and conditions and how to pay are the parts illegible. The car park doesn't actually allow daily parking (something I've only recently learned) so even when/if we tried to get a ticket, we couldn't. My question here then, is what have the company lost by any breach of contract? They have monthly and annual parking tickets, but when I asked before moving into the area the waiting list was 3 years to get a car park, so have Meteor actually lost anything by me parking in a vacant space for the day? or would I have to work out the daily equivalent of their monthly or annual fee to work out what they have really lost? Here's my question - I would rather respond to the ticket than have the extra stress of waiting for letters to turn up at the moment with my ill health. With this in mind what would you suggest the content of an appeal letter contain? Do I outline my health position and hope someone will actually be nice? I was going to just pay the £45 until I realised that I missed the 14 day window as I was too ill to do anything and I couldn't actually read the part of the ticket that outlined I needed to pay within 14 days for the reduced amount. I don't hold much hope for this option - but I still have my hospital appointment letters. Do I dispute on the basis of poor signage? (I need to visit the park again and see what it actually says and whether its clear that only season park ticket holders can park there) Can they deem that I've accepted their terms and conditions by parking in their park? is parking your car an acceptable action for acceptance of a contract? Can they uphold a £90 fine value? I would expect not, but I would like to outline in the letter what they can actually claim (loss of profits/costs due to a breach of contract = £???). Suggested wording will be much appreciated, I realise people have these all the time, but I would certainly appreciate some specific guidance on what wording I should use in a dispute letter? Thanks
  22. Hello, hopefully someone can help me. Many months ago, my wife was stopped at the train station by an inspector and couldn't find her ticket. She offered to pay the £20 fine then and there but was refused and told she'd get a letter in the mail to pay. Much time passed, we forgot about it, and then over the span of a few months, a couple of letters came for her, however her surname was spelled incorrectly so I assumed them to be junk mail which she gets a lot of, wrote "return to sender" and posted them back. Finally another letter like this came and she decided to open it. Inside, was a notice from the West Midlands Central Finance Unit saying she now owed £338 and if she didn't pay in full, they will do one of many things, including: Issue a warrant of distress for purpose of levying sum due; Register the account in the Register of Judgements, Orders and Fines, restricting credit options and loans and mortgages; Make an attachment of Earnings Order to deduct from her salary; Make a vehicle clamping order; And the most worrying: Refer her case to court, which may decide to issue a warrant without bail for her arrest, increase her fine by 50%, enforce the case at the County Court or High court by applying for a charging order or other court order, or SEND HER TO PRISON! My wife is not registered at my address, on any utility bills of any sort, nor is she employed as she recently graduated University. She is American, here on a visa, and we are planning on moving to the states in about a year so there is really nothing they could do on that list other than imprison her, it seems. I'm very worried, we don't have the money to pay this right now as I've recently enrolled in a debt management program to get our finances under control for us to move. What can I do about this? Can we call them and explain the situation of her not receiving the letters due to her name being spelled incorrectly? I'm happy for us to pay the original fine, but this is outrageous for us right now. Will they really try to arrest her? Please, any help possible is welcome.
  23. Hi all. I have a problem. Last September I was fined 20 pounds on the train. I had an Oyster Card for zones 1-6 but the station I went to, whilst inside the M25, is not in the Oyster Zone (I didn’t know this at the time). I offered to pay the fare of a single journey or take a train back to a station in the zone but was fined. I didn’t pay it on the spot as I had no money. I now realize I am wrong with this, but originally I thought I needed to wait for an appeal letter to come in the post. In the meantime I found a new job in Asia. I spent the next few weeks following the fine organizing this- visa, medical, relocation etc. and within a few weeks had left the UK. I am still in Asia now and will be for the foreseeable future. Basically I forgot about the fine. Letters were sent to my former address (a shared bedsit) when I was away in Asia but of course I didn’t receive them. A final steps notice was then sent to my parent’s address where my parents informed me of the situation. The fine is around 450 pounds. Not originally knowing what the fine was for I immediately contacted them and appealed it, asked for details and asked them to stop sending to my parents address as I didn’t live there. I gave them my contact details in Asia as I have no UK place of residence. I received an email from them today saying that next week the case will go to the court to be reopened under section 142. In that letter, and for the first time in our correspondence, they told me it was for a train fine and gave the date. I now realize what it is about and that I am in fact guilty. So my issue is what to do next? On the one hand I don’t live in the UK anymore. I don’t have a UK address, and I have no possessions in the UK. I also cannot afford to come back, so I am wondering what can they do? On the other hand, should I just tell them the full story and what do you think would be the likely outcome of this? I cannot afford to pay 450 pounds as that is a lot more money in Asia than it is the UK. I am really unsure of what to do and of course my biggest fear is a criminal record. I feel out of my depth on this and am worried. I never received the letters but then again I now know that I should have acted on the piece of paper issued to me. What is your advice? Thank you

  25. Hello I am very distressed and unable to sleep since last two nights. My partner was travelling in a train on Friday night all by her self in great western train. Two males harassed her and when she asked them not to touch her, they started verbally abusing her. There were people on board but no one even bothered to raise their voice. She was frightened and was desparetley looking for the member of the staff. But she could not find anyone. As soon as the station arrived she got off the train and found the ticket checker and went straight to her. Thats where she wanted to get off the train anyways and I was waiting at the platform to pick her up. I saw her going to the ticket checker and talking to her. She was looking very distressed and I dint know what had happened. I went to her and I was amazed that the ticket checker was being rude to my partner. He said I cant do anything you have to complain to the police. She even pointed to those males that they are the one cant you do anything. He very rudely said no I cant and you can goto police if you want to. She said I am going to complain about all this and he said, "DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO" and went away. Obviously, I was waiting for her to finish the conversation, to fully understand the situation from her. But by that time it was too late as those two males have left the train station as well. We then went to police station and gave our statement. Now, I know train staff are not allowed to interfere but he was suppose to call the police. He could have seen those two males and given their description to the police as well. But instead he decided not to do anything and for no reason he was very very rude to my partner. I am very distressed and would like to know what my options are. I want to take the Great Western Train services to court as they aide the criminals get away. They must be on some other train harassing someone else's girl friend, daughter or sister! Could you guys please tell me what are the options I have. I also emailed great western trains yesterday and described the whole situation and said I am going to take them to the court! Please help, I hope you guys can imagine what pain I am going through at the moment. Thank you
