Hey guys, just getting ready to leave but I also just received this We were sorry to learn of your concerns around a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) following your son's attendance at Loxford Polyclinic on 20th August. We would like to thank you for making us aware and your feedback in this respect. As a formal complaint was raised with NHS Property Services we have been in contact with the Senior Estates Manager responsible for the site to ensure that this was properly followed up. Following investigations we are able to share the following with you: PCN - this has been referred to the parking company Parking Eye and confirmation received that on this occasion the PCN has been cancelled. Please be aware that this may not be the case should any subsequent parking notices be received. parking signage - please see the attached copy of one of the signs at Loxford Polyclinic which we trust will assist for any future visits to the site. The sign details 'patients and visitors must enter their full, correct vehicle registration into the terminal at reception on arrival to obtain a 2 hour parking permit' We have received confirmation that the parking signage is also being fully reviewed by the local team who are engaging with the parking company around possible improvements All complaints are taken very seriously by NHS Property Services and are formally monitored through our Customer Engagement team with regular reports to the business, so I really appreciate you contacting us. As I will now close your case, I would like to express my sincere apologies and should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me or our Customer Support Team. All our details are in my signature below. Upon closure of your complaint, there should also be the opportunity for you to provide feedback via a survey if you feel this appropriate. We would of course welcome any comments from you in this respect. Kind regards At least that is one of them sorted, cheers everyone, especially Dave on that last letter, it clearly done the trick! How does this sound? Thank you for your email. I understand that it takes time to properly consider a complaint but ParkingEye have strict deadlines for payment. All that is required is that someone take a quick walk over to the car park and notice the lack of signs which will indicate the invalidity of the invoice that has been sent, it can then be cancelled and remedial activity employed to rectify the lack of signage so that no further incidents such as this can occur. I have attached the latest google maps image from 2022 so it appears to have been like that for a very long time. I look forward to your reply. Kind regards,

Yours sincerely 20 days takes us beyond our ability to "appeal" lol, it takes two minutes to check that the operation on their site is illegal.

It is like I am being forced to perform for free, like a zoo animal, in order to prevent myself from being shaken down. I'm sure I will be told we are going round in circles but this is unacceptable. No one should be forced to play another's game unless there is consent. I don't want to play this game, the rules have not been followed, it shouldn't be for me to spend precious time and energy defending against someone's claim that I have broken the rules when they are the ones that have broken the rules, perhaps that is a better way to word it. Perhaps it should be put on them to prove that all legal conditions have been met to issue their invoice ? Just sending a picture of a car is not evidence of breach of contract

Yeah I think that is the issue with us good folk. We think if we treat evil nice it will be nice to us in return What does everyone else think of Dave's suggested response?? In my mind, they will not care, they will probably just laugh at it like they did the first one and then be smug by repeating the same nonsense they have already sent me twice. These people need to be held accountable for their actions, they are facilitating what I deem in my opinion to ultimately be fraud. Whether it is or not in other peoples opinion is their choice, I believe it should be for the public to decide upon conclusion of a full investigation. But where does that even begin? There appears to be no one to go to that will do anything, unless I am mistaken which of course I am sometimes.. Something is crooked and it is becoming more and more evident, it is also infuriating me because there are many millions of vulnerable people out there that are being victimised and robbed basically, imagine how many people ae being fleeced on a daily basis, not everyone knows about CAG. Obviously, you guys have way more experience with all this than I do but I have a bit of knowledge and understanding, I also have backbone so I will always be prepared to stand my ground. There must be a way to protect people from these predators. They are purposely setting traps (the law is clear on its rules and regs regarding these operations) they are hunting for prey, their actions are causing harm and loss (which is unlawful). It is my understanding that the premise of my defense is that the issuance of their invoice is illegal based upon current legislation, if this is correct, then the fact that the NHSPS is aware of its agents illegal activities and still allows it to continue is also illegal conduct. Conducting illegal activities and facilitating illegal conduct is criminal, am I mistaken? Is that not why people go to prison or get penalised, for engaging in illegal activities??

Yes of course, I am not interested in playing their game unless they are going to pay me for my time. This is what I am trying to get at. They all know what they are doing and I am not having it. There should be something that can be said or done that stops these public servants from abusing their positions, surely??

Dear Sir/Madam, My son had to attend Loxford Polyclinic for a blood test on 20/08/23. Unfortunately I received a PCN from your agent ParkingEye for using your car park. Vehicle registration Could you kindly request that this be cancelled please and that perhaps someone advises patients that are attending for appointments that there is a system in place for parking, or perhaps some sufficient signage in and around the parking area and entrance of the clinic to notify genuine attendees otherwise innocent people will continue getting these fines. I appreciate your kind assistance and feedback on this matter. Kind regards,

Here we go : Good afternoon (Victim) Thank you for contacting NHS Property Services. I am sorry to hear that you have received a parking charge. In the first instance, you will need to appeal the charge - full details should be on the PCN. Please update us following your appeal. Thank you What would be the best response to this to cut this short?? Cheers guys.

Hey guys, an update here : "Please see the below response received from our Estates Department, as NELFT do not own the site in question you will need to take this up with the parking company directly. “Best advice to people in receipt of a PCN is always for them to immediately engage directly with whichever parking management contractor issued the PCN. That’s usually through an appeal process. The worst thing to do is to ignore it as a legal process usually commences after a set period. Secondly, they can reach out to the owner/manager of the site (in this case NHSPS) to ask for them to investigate and support in genuine cases.” Kind Regards" Could someone help me with a reply to this please, I am just trying to cool the blood down right now.

Cheers Nicky!! The car was parked in the first section it was the second spot in as it goes. When I saw the sign for STAFF ONLY I immediately stopped because I was going to use that area to turn around, so instead, I just reverse parked as all the other cars are in the photo. There was no indication to me of any requirements other than having to be a patient. There was also no signs or mention of having to input your reg anywhere which is what I believe the ticket is actually for. I might have to put in an FOI to see how many tickets are being issued at these sites, would they have to give me that information, I believe it would be in the interest of the public to know.
