1. This was my thoughts exactly. They asked for nothing except income. I will wait for other comments - thanks
2. Hi Again The dates seem correct on the CF. I have made complaints to a number of PDLs regarding irresponsible lending, and here is my response from peachy. Based on what they say, is it worth me taking it any further? Can I even? My main complaint with them is that this loan was issued to me shortly after my DRO cleared. No income/expenditure details was asked for bar my at the time small salary. I was allowed to roll over more than 18 times, and take further credit after multiple rollovers at a time when my pdl debt was mounting and they were a prime contributor. I ended up paying around £400 interest and charges. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for contacting Peachy Loans. We can assure you that we have investigated your complaint competently, diligently and impartially. We would now like to provide you with our final response. Please be advised that prior taking out your first loan with us, we have provided you with our Credit Agreement (signed 18th of August 2011), which contains a list of our Terms&Conditions and information how our Credit Cycle works. Our Credit Agreement was displayed to you on the screen before you were able to confirm the loan amount and the loan term and a copy of it was sent to your email address registered with us for future reference. This document was a rolling agreement, which means you did not need to agree to it each time separately, but it is valid for the whole time, until you choose to close your account with Peachy. On 18th of August 2011, you have signed the Credit Agreement electronically and by doing that you have also confirmed you have read them carefully and understand the consequences. For example you have agreed to the following: 1.7 You agree that at the date of applying for and accepting an advance from us, you are not: a) in a Debt Management Plan (or similar scheme) or considering entering a Debt Management Plan (or similar scheme); b) in an I.V.A or are considering entering into an I.V.A.; c) bankrupt or considering filing for bankruptcy; d) under notice of termination of employment, redundancy or any other notice which could affect your employment status; e) in receipt of Statutory Sick Pay or suffering from any medical condition which would cause you to apply for Statutory Sick Pay during the period of the loan; f) in receipt of any benefits instead of your usual wages, salary or other income declared to us in your application. 1.8 By signing this Agreement, you confirm that your wages are regularly paid into the Account. You also agree to ensure that there are sufficient funds available in the Account on the agreed repayment date(s) to repay any advance to us. and also 4.1 It is important that you provide us with accurate information in connection with this agreement. Prior to entering into this Agreement, or at the time of doing so, we may decide to check your details with fraud prevention agencies. If you provide false or inaccurate information or we suspect fraud, this information may be recorded. Fraud prevention agency records will be shared with other organisations to help make decisions on credit, motor, household, life and other insurance proposals or claims for you and members of your household. In relation to the last quote (Statement 4.1) we can confirm you have provided us with information about your income of £1,150.00 per month, without bringing out any regular expenses. Based on this information you have £1,150 disposable income, which means you should have had more than enough funds to cover a £115 loan repayment. Additionally we made sure you are employed by the company whose details you provided in your application by performing our work check via phone. In case the provided information was incorrect, then you would be responsible for providing us with false information, therefore making it impossible for us to ensure your affordability in any other way. Since 2011 we have of course improved our systems and started working with other partners, therefore our procedures have changed. Please be advised that during the period you had your loans with us (from August 2011 until the beginning of 2012) we were not regulated by FCA and hence the charges applied to your loans were under different limitations. We can assure you that all of the loans given out since 2nd of January 2015 are all in accordance with FCA's regulations. We have done everything from our side to ensure you have all the necessary information prior to applying for a loan, it is your responsibility to read through the information we provide you with. Please find the copy of your Credit Agreement attached to this email. Unfortunately, based on the above we are not able to uphold your complaint. This has been our final response. If this is not satisfactory to youthen you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge – but you must do so within six months of the date of this letter. If you do not refer your complaint in time, the Ombudsman will not have our permission to consider your complaint and so will only be able to do so in very limited circumstances. For example, if the Ombudsman believes that the delay was as a result of exceptional circumstances. 3. I received a certificate - I still have it on my email - maybe it was different back then? I was one of the first to do it I think
4. Yes, I got this in 2011 I think. The problem is, quickquid are american, and every time I explain and link them to the DRO page, they refer me to bankruptcy rules and six years.. The others just ignore me. Barclaycard I am particularly disappointed with being a bank
5. The DRO was all good, and completed however ever since I have been trying to deal with those that gave me credit the year after I completed it, and those who were included in it that paid no notice to it. Quickquid, Barclays, Barclaycard, LloydsTSB, Wonga, Payday Express, moneyshop, littlewoods x 3, Next were all included as well as a load of others I cannot remember but all have continued reporting on my CF. I have finally removed lloyds, wonga, littlewoods recently but the others I am still fighting. Lowell have been emailed now. I have not taken any credit now for around 2-3 years. I suspect part of lowell could be some brilliantgiftshop related accounts I had around 2012 thinking about it
6. I have no credit now - could not get it anyway! All of these accounts are from between 2010-2012, where I ended up in a huge payday loan mess, just getting more and more to pay the rest back - they never ran a check and I was amazed they kept lending! I am trying to contact each one to see what it is, all of these lowell ones suddenly appeared recently so I will contact them now. There is a fair chance some of them were covered by my DRO.
7. Ahhh yes, I had an iadvance from them years ago - lower half:
8. Thanks - also further down, Lowell appears.. 9 times The two quickquid should be marked as settled from a DRO in 2010, but they do not seem to understand what a DRO is no matter how many times I explain..
9. I am on there now. My main issue is so many are DCA's, and I have no clue who or what they are for
10. Ah didn't see that! Just saw that their website just seemed back up and current
11. I have now contacted all of them and am waiting to hear back. Some others I remembered having are below, any details for these? Toothfairy Finance Next Credit Speedycash Speedeloans Tower Capital 1 Month Loan (think finance)
12. Ok, I thought Minicredit had been dissolved, looking at their website now, they are back and lending??!?!? HOW
13. Thanks for this I will try and get through to them all now. I am having real issues at the moment with QuickQuid. In 2010 I Had to take out a DRO due to all my PDL debt and being made jobless. I was discharged from this in early 2011. I have been trying for years to make QQ update my Credit Report to reflect this and also complaining to them that they are totally irresponsible lenders, but they will not. This was their latest response after I emailed their complaints team (normally they ignore me): Thank you for contacting us regarding your account. We understand your concern regarding your credit file and apologize for any inconvenience. We have record of your bankruptcy filing however, the default status of your account with us will remain on your file for up to 6 years. We apologise if there was any delay in responding to your complaint. Your query raised several questions on what loan affordability is based on and what statutory checks are processed before assessing credit approval. Please be advised of the following information in relation to your query: -We processed a credit check, the search id: LTJ-xxx confirms one of the affordability checks that were ran. You can find additional information on checks by contacting Callcredit which is one of the Credit Reporting Agencies we use. -We also run various checks, which include but are not limited to, affordability assessment based on current financial commitments, as well as verifying any personal details provided on the application. -After the application was submitted, we send our customers an email which contains the pre-contractual agreement and also contains a hyperlink that leads to an audio version for your convenience. -Prior to making a lending decision, your loan application is reviewed and all of the information discussed above is analyzed and taken into consideration. -Once that information is reviewed, we make a decision and subsequently contact the consumer to advise of the final credit decision. After careful review of your account and the information you submitted at the time of your application, we have determined that we diligently followed our processes and conducted a credit and affordability assessment on each credit application that was granted. If you have any queries, our Final Resolution Team is here to help. Kind Regards, June Now, I have explained to this lot before that a DRO is NOT the same as bankruptcy, and the debt should have been shown as settled after one year.. How can I sort this?
14. Hi All I wonder if you can help? I am looking to send complaints to the following PDL companies for unfair treatment, irresponsible lending and other poor practices but cannot find the details to send them to. Anyone know the email addresses? Minicredit CFO Lending (the major one) Wagedayadvance txtloan poundstillpayday Provident moneyinadvance Thanks in advance
15. Oh no, I made a complaint to the complaints email, and within 24 hours they came back with that - I was paid the same day.
16. I agree with the above, for me minicredit were the most extortionate and CFO the most irresponsible. I mean CFO ended up tripling my debt with 'CFO resolve' and causing me all sorts of problems
17. Finally had a reply. They said although I am not strictly eligible, they can see they treated me unfairly, so offered me a £130 refund immediately which I accepted. All good - makes up for it a bit after all these years.
18. Thank you for that! I have just emailed them a full complaint detailing exactly what they did and when, and have been told I will receive a response within 24 hours. Will let you all know!
19. Are they kidding me? Any advice would be really appreciated. I had a payday loan with this lot a few years back. They never made any checks on me, and lent it totally irresponsibly . I ended up on benefits, and agreed a payment plan with them. They then on the day my benefits were paid, they took the entire amount from me, leaving me with nothing to live on for a month, including disgusting amounts of charges. I was in tears, literally begging them/my bank lloyds for help, they told me tough luck we can do what we like (Literally said this) and the bank told me we wont help. I ended up scrounging and getting into more debt over it. I have just seen that they have to repay people they did over, and I emailed them to ensure I am included. Just got this back: 'Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, you are not due redress following a review of your account. Cash Genie has been working with its regulator (the FCA), and an independent skilled person to ensure all customers who were affected by past business practices receive redress. Cash Genie is contacting all customers who were affected. The redress has been verified and you were not affected by those business practices, although we appreciate your disappointment. Kind Regards Customer Support' Is there anything I can do? These guys still give me massive anger, I wish I could meet their CEO face to face for how I was treated
20. Hi All Would anybody be able to find me the contact details for the CEO of UK Mail? I am beyond anger with these people. Three times in a row I have scheduled a collection of some bits I sold on ebay, they don't turn up, don't apologise, don't give any reason and don't give a rats ... I pay through the roof for it to be next day, and they don't arrive. The people on ebay then have a fit at me, and it reflects in the feedback. If I had enough money I would sue them for damage to my account
21. Hi Please can somebody help me with this. My mum had an ebay debt, which has been paid in full and cleared with ebay. Their dodgy collector 'Akinika' has been harassing her on a daily basis with phonecalls and letters demanding payment. She has contacted ebay who have confirmed the debt was cleared and that she should not be receiving these calls. We have tried emailing the AKINIKA complaints email address but get delivery failure as it does not seem to exist. This also happens with their enquiries email. She has explained the situation on the phone and been told she is lying and that bailiffs will be sent. What the hell do we do.

23. Can anybody help me. I was one of those who Wonga owe compensation for their fake letter scandal. I received a tonne of their fake solicitor letters for years. I was told I would receive a letter as I am affected. Nothing ever came. I have emailed them about.. 20 times, ALL I ever got was a robot default response saying I am affected etc. I emailed two official complaints that I have received no letter and called them, and they did not even bother to respond to those at their complaints email address. What can I do!?!
24. Hi I wonder if anyone could help. I have contacted Lloyds TSB numerous times over the past few years regarding this and they refuse to acknowledge or help and I have had enough now. In March 2011 I was discharged from a Debt Relief Order that included 3 lloyds TSB accounts. A bank overdraft, Credit Card and a Loan. They have been contacted by myself and the official receiver numerous times regarding this, but are still chasing me for the debt, and the debt still shows on my credit file. It has now been almost four years that this has been having an adverse affect on my credit file and this simply is not good enough. Please will you help me sort this? I am at my wits end.
