  1. I've done the same thing, cancelled the payment method without actually cancelling the membership somewhere. When I finally figured out what I had done, I had some apologies to make.
  2. At least is progress! They called you after they have been ignoring you all this time.
  3. I am having the very same issue and will take the forum's advice and go directly to the retailer and let them handle it with the manufacturer.
  4. Constantly being worried about something will make your health even worse and your life will not be very enjoyable. Call National Debtline and explain it to them, after you hang up the phone and realize that they can help you, you will feel a lot better!
  5. Thanks fkofilee, that could be why. I guess I never really thought about it because I assumed that it would be counted as any other loan.
  6. Good thought renegade! If the bike is valuable enough, some people would rather just pay a ransom to get it back and be dome with it all.
  7. I learned something new today! I didn't know the DWP loans don't show up on credit files. Can anyone explain why this is?
  8. Perhaps you could contact them directly and ask why the missing payments have been added to your old account? Is it a bookkeeping error or something more? You might even be successful in having them remove the judgment altogether for you since you have paid and it has been a while.
  9. I have heard this same story so many times before. How can this company be allowed to provide services to anyone if it can't do anything right? There job is to supply you with heat and hot water, you don't have heat and hot water. They have failed at their job and it might be time to take this matter to court so you can get a resolution.
  10. I also wanted to add that I don't think that person has the bike, someone that might have stolen a bike will definitely not brag about it to the owner, it isn't considered that much of a trophy to them.
  11. Definitely contact the police again and let them know that someone called and claimed to have the bike. Even if they don't and it was a prank, perhaps a visit from the police will curtail and future prank calls the might make to anyone else.
  12. Hi Joe, I'm new here also. This is actually my very first post on the forums!
