  17. Le Harve is nearer than Calais , but you would be better off going portsmouth to st Malo ferry route. calais to Saint Sauvant will take you 7 hours(774KM) Le Havre is 5 and a half hours(550KM) St Malo would be 4 hours(440KM) Better to get a ferry that lands early morning(especially Sunday) if you want quiet roads to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road, also please check your insurance and that you carry all obligatory stuff that the French authorities say you have to!
  18. It would mean you are paying back what your LL owes! I would get in touch with the energy company and your LL!
  19. I was just wondering about the fines....how do they get your ID if you refuse to give it? Plus do they have to have notices placed around the town warning about the fixed penalties like those fixed penalties for over staying in a private car park?
  20. Was you given a chance to pick up your cigerette end before the fine was given? Did they ask you for ID? What if you do not have ID on you what happens then? Personally I think £80 is way to much of a fine....more than some peoples income for the week...if you are on JSA or ESA assessment rate!
