Hello when I moved into my property in Nov 2014 it had/has PPM, and every £10 I put on the gas meter £7 was being taken for the previous tenants debt it it was an absolute nightmare to get it sorted but in the end it was. I then requested that the PPM were removed so I could set up a direct debit but they wanted £130 to change each meter!!!!!! Needless to say I still have the PPM even tho I hate them due to costs and inconvenience of having to top them up. Regards

Hello all received a letter from Robinson Way today with the following: "The above overdue amount remains unpaid despite previous letters and calls. (they can't call as they do not have my numbers) Your account is now due to to be transferred to Howard Cohen & Co solicitors in the next 10 days, who will consider court action. If court action is taken, our client's solicitors will ask the court for an order adding legal costs and interest to the amount you owe. If the court grant's their request, then the amount you owe will be increased. If you would rather agree an affordable repayment plan directly with us to prevent this account being passed to Howard Cohen & Co, or if you feel you have a valid dispute relating to this account, please contact us without delay." Well they will have a long wait for me to contact them and yes I am aware it's full of if's and maybes Regards to all -

Hello, just an aside bit of information, I received y council tax bill and over the years have had to pay nothing but the latest letter informs me now I have to pay 8 5% of council tax from April 2016. Just a heads up that some council tax will need to be paid, mine at 8.5 % works out to a £100 for the year. Regards

Hello Shiblets, the letter from Robinson Way is a standard letter they send out after a CCA request, they will not have it so have to request it from the original creditor. Now if they don't receive it within a month or so they will send you another letter to update you that they are still waiting for the original creditor to respond, this will go on until the original creditor sends it to them or advises that they can't produce it. I have an outstanding CCA request with them from April last year and received the "we are waiting for the original creditor to provide it" several times but for the last couple of months those letters have changed too "please contact us" and "call us to discuss a discounted settlement". I have no intention of contacting them and they can do nothing until they comply with my CCA request and when and if they do I will deal with it then. Take the advice you have been given, it really is the way to handle it. Regards

Yes dx I am aware of the wording but I would like to get the answers as she wants to put it to rest especially after I helped check her CRA and nothing shows so may be statued barred. Regards

Hello helping another friend with their problem. They have received letters from Robinson Way stating that they have had no response to their letters asking for payment relating to two debts that they had purchased and if she does not respond in 14 days they will take legal action. Now this is the first letter they have received regarding this and all tho she does/did have some debts some 5/6 years ago these letters do not state which debts these are. I will refrain from ringing them to ask relevant questions but was looking to write to them asking for the following: Previous Owner, Account Number, Total Amount, Date of Default, Last Payment Date, Amount of Last Payment, Who Was the Payment made Too, How Was This Payment Made and Where was this Payment Made. Do these questions sound ok?, obviously I will format the letter with correctly but just spaced as such to save over posting. Regards

Hello mickeymac I welcome your candid response and totally understand where you are coming from. I recall only last week where I went for an hospital appointment and it was with a new doctor, she prescribed a new drug for me and I blindly accepted it, fortunately for me and not so fortunate for the doctor who was on the receiving end of my sister's tongue lashing who helps me cope with appointments and medication, as my sister pointed out to the doctor that what was prescribed can cause kidney damage/problems and as I only have the one kidney and this only works at 90% with a JJ stent in it to keep it working the medication prescribed would have caused me severe harm. A lot of medication I take to maintain what health I have causes me to become forgetful and therefore I do not cook as I am more likely to burn the house down. Is it the fact I can't cook or it's not safe for me to cook? The fact is with my list of 6 problems, mainly physical but to a large degree mental health I do not attempt to cook for my own safety along with others safety. Regards

Hello my friend is on ESA and he has three AOE deductions, Council tax, Rent arrears and Thames water, each amount is aprox £3.50 each, unsure if he pays it monthly or each fortnight, left him a message asking him to confirm and will update when I know. Regards

Your award letter should advise you of how long you will get ESA and and when your next review will be. Mine was granted for 6 years Regards

Howdy all, received letter yesterday from Robinson Way worded as follows: " Help Available We have sent you a number of letters and tried to telephone you, but your account remains unpaid. The full balance is due but we want to understand what is affordable for you and agree a suitable payment arrangement based in your individual circumstances. Alternatively, we may be able to agree a reduction in the amount you owe as a settlement and we can even discuss you paying the reduced balance by affordable instalments. Call us to discuss your option on xxxxxxxxx, or if you are experiencing financial distress at the moment, you can contact one of our trained debt specialists on xxxxx." They attached a giro payment slip with the letter, bless them for thinking of my needs. Regards to all. -

Hello and just a quick question, Cabot were the owners of the debt but Mortimer Clarke were the solicitors who got the CCJ and my friend has been paying them, who should be named as claimant and who should be the defendant.
