  1. Hi all, I had my performance review yesterday with the company that I have worked with since June 2010. It has left me feeling very depressed and deflated. I have had nothing but problems with this company since I stated. My confidence is now at a all time low, and I am paranoid about my appearance. I am a naturally slim person due to a high metabolism and have had comments about my weight all my life. But I am a healthy woman with a 6 year old daughter. I had only been with the company a month when I was informed by the Managing Director that she wanted to go through my training plan with me. That was the start of the comments. She went through my plan and at the end said and on a personal issue "your breath" she asked me to go to the docs and dentist and report back to her with what they had said. Well I went straight home and asked my hubby if I had bad breath and he said no. But now I am consently eating mints and shying away from talking to people. Dentist and docs say there is nothing wrong. Then came the "are you ok, you look really tired" comments everyday! I now check for black bags all the time. I covered two weeks hols and worked full time for two weeks after 2 months of being there. I am a part time admin assistant worker (I like part time hours as I have a 6 year old) Them two weeks were hell. My work was pulled apart which in turn made me make mistakes, which in turn got me into more trouble. To cut a long story short. She told me that I am under standard in all aspects of the role. She wants to see my commitment to the company and see me coming in early and leaving late! I told them at interview that the hours suited me as it worked around my daughters school days. She said that I was staying on my startig wage of £7 p hr, I told her I am on £6 and she said well you will be staying on that. Everyone else got a lovely pay rise. I am soooo stressed about all off it. I have always been highly thought of in all my jobs.
  2. When I rang sky and asked to change my telephone number they said it wasn't that easy and that I could not change it
  3. I am just about to complain to FOS about them. I have been enjoying the peace the DMP with CCCS has brought and stopped fighting for charges etc but I am ready for round two now 9ding ding)
  4. Thanks HBK, all done and dusted. Just fighting over figures now
  5. Thought I'd let you know I have complained to the Adjudicatory who passed my letter back to the TAX office complaint department and they have told me they will be in touch by 2 March!
  6. Very are doing very strange things on my account they are charging me £150 interest then adding it on as credit?!?! That was done on the last two statements from them
  7. Hi, quick update. This has now been passed to DCA. I think it is rockwells (at work and can't remember of top of my head. Waiting for letter to come after hubby refused to deal with them on phone or answer security details. Our DMP with CCCS is in full action now and they will have already received a payment. They are still to reply further regarding PPI reclaim.
  8. I have complained numerous time to Barclays about current account and Barclay card they ignore EVERYTHING. Worse bank I have ever dealt with. We have entered a CCCS DMP and Natwest couldn't have been more helpful, they have paid bank credit card charges without to much of a fight but Barclays continue to ignore me about everything. Good luck
  9. Thought u might be interested in their reply to post 12 Thank you for your letter. All of your comments have been noted. As previously advised in my email dated the 4th January 2011, our Client has confirmed that they have issued you a letter on the 22nd December 2010, advising you that Debt Managers Ltd(DML) are now dealing with the above account, and that they have fulfilled their obligation under section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. I can advise that DML have not purchased the account, therefore a deed of assignment is not applicable. I can advise that we are in receipt of correspondence from the CCCS with details of your income and expenditure and an offer of repayment of £ per month has been accepted on the above account with the first repayment due on the..................... If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact myself on 01709 758410. Yours sincerely, Karen Barrass Miss Karen Barrass Compliance Officer
  10. Hopefully, fingers crossed. Letter received this morning just letting me know that they are still investigating my complaint and will be in touch as soon as possible.
  11. Thanks for looking in Slick Sent PPI letter last week in November, got a letter back from them dated 7 Dec saying that they would look into it. They haven't give me a choice of accepting or not. They have just said that they are refunding that amount to the account. To be honest I would like what I calculated as it is quite a difference and it is better in my pocket then theirs. Shall I write to them and say that this is alot less then what I was asking for?
  12. Halifx have wrote with regards to the charges and are refunding £519. Still no word on PPI reclaim though.
  13. Admitted it, payment plan agreed. Letter from Court saying that I must pay agreed monthly payments ect. Then yes another letter from DCA! Saying they have been instructed by Argos and I must not ignore their letter or they will take things further. Thanks
  14. I thought I had responded to their letter that I typed up on here and on checking my email I discovered that I did on the 13 December (memory isn't very good at moment as have had flu all over Christmas and am just recovering now. I sent this this 13 December 2010 Dear Re: Your Reference Thank you for your letter dated 30 November 2010. I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of the fact that if I do issue Court Proceedings this will incur a further interest charge of 8% simple interest, on each charge including your interest - from the date it was levied - to the date of your claim I also note that your letter effectively seeks to justify this charge on the grounds that it complies with OFT guidance. In that guidance, the OFT says: “As a practical measure, to help encourage a swift change in market practice, we are setting a simple monetary threshold for intervention by us on default charges. The threshold is £12. We regard the setting of the threshold as a provisional practical measure to move the market towards compliance. We should make it quite clear that we are not inviting the banks to align their charges at such a threshold figure. We are not proposing that default fees should be equivalent to the threshold and a court will certainly not consider that a default fee is fair just because it is below the threshold. The threshold is not intended to be a permanent feature of our intervention in this market. We will consider further action if trends in the market suggest that this threshold approach is insufficient to bring about appropriate and early change in the market. It is also important to note that the threshold for action is a statement of our regulatory intent. We have no power to constrain private civil actions or to determine what a court should decide and other enforcers may apply for injunctions under the UTCCRs”. I require repayment in full of this money and removal of the default notice. I look forward to hearing from you within fourteen days from the date of this letter. Yours sincerely i did get an email back saying that they had received my email but as of yet I have heard nothing.
  15. Thanks will send that off to them today. What shall I do about the PPI as they haven't said anything since acknowledging the first letter. Thanks
  16. Have started getting phonecalls from a DCA for Halifax. Still haven't had another response to my letter regarding charges or PPI reclaim though. They are actually the only DCA ringing as everyone has now been contacted by CCCS regarding my DMP. Think it may be time to send other letters regarding PPI and charges.
  17. Hi all. I have been unwell with the flu, but thought I would give you an update. I have received the payment book from Moorcroft and the letter from the court explaining that it will be on my file for 6 years etc. Then received a letter from another DCA about this account, stating that Argos has passed it on to them. This is dated 4 Jan when all the court stuff was excepted by Moorcroft 28 Dec!
  18. Quick update, They amount they are requesting now stands at over a grand as they have added soooooo many changes. I gave them 14 days to respond. Letter waiting to go to FOS in the New Year
  19. Hi, I am currently fighting Very for my Charges and have had letter after letter of them both from a DCA and themselves. They always insist that you ring em to discuss things. Thought u might like a look at my thread, I will be complaining to the FOS in the New Year. Letter waiting to go! http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?276962-Laa-v-Very
  20. Spoke to CCCS today and they confirmed thatthey have not spoken to Barclays yet. So that last letter from them was VERY strange. CCCS said that they would not start talking to Barclays until my DMP was all in place as this usually leads to Barclays terminating the account when they do get involved.
  21. Home retail taking me to court on this now. They are using Moorcrofts ref number not Argos's ref number.
  22. Takes some setting up a DMP! Spoke to them a few times on the phone and I must say very helpful. They talking me though Court Papers recieved from a Argos card and told me what to offer. Might be able to sleep again now thats in the post!
  23. Spoke to CCCS today. They told me what to offer and that has gone recorded today, so phew I can breath again now. Will send the SAR request off in a couple of days and get that reduced accordingly after I take away their unlawful charges. I wasn't actually going to SAR them while it was all quite but hey ho...............court proceedings issued so I will fight you back the best way I know how
  24. Called into the office on Friday, only to be told (by a very nice helpful chap) that they could not access his file so he could use their phone to ring and talk to them. He rang he got the same.....we will get someone to ring you back. He insisited on speaking to a line manager. Line manager said that cheque was stuck in system and that there was nothing they could do to speed things up. Clarifed that they had recieved complaints letter but could not comment on why they have not responded. She was not at all helpful. Chap in office said he could not understand why they were been like this, it has not been "stuck in the system" for 7 months. He said they could over ride the system with a few punches of buttons and have it issued today. Peed off is not they word!
