  1. I would, but mine is the 22nd too! Not at your court though, I wouldn't think.
  2. Perhaps if you had made your original post in that tone then I wouldn't have given you a 'mouthful'. You put an exclamation mark after the word, 'unlucky' - this alone indicates that you found it funny and I probably speak for all of us who are waiting for court hearings when I say that is one thing it is not. Personally, I don't give a flying monkeys what other people who are not claiming charges think, let them moan and complain all they like. The banks are still making billions of pounds profit a year, profits are going up even with the paying out of charges as one bank liked to gloat last week so maybe the people who are moaning about these additional charges on accounts and interest rates dropping on accounts should be targetting the banks and their excuses for doing this. If people have never received a charge in their life then good for them but fortunes can change in an instant and even the most financially stable person can end up in the mire. It happens and it happens a lot - look at all the famous, rich people that have gone bankrupt. Look at all the repossessions that there are now.
  3. I will update my thread - deleted it all for one reason and another. Just dropped my court bundle in this morning and hearings not being stayed as a matter of course. If the bank request it, it will probably be allowed though.
  4. Have you actually read around since the test case was announced? Obviously not as you would realise that yes, whilst some people have had their cases stayed pending the case, others have gone to court and the judge has ruled in their favour. So please, before you start preaching and congratulating yourself at how you knew best, get your facts right.
  5. We too filed at the same time as you - 9th March I think and our hearing is on 22nd August, so 2 weeks today. As yet, the court is going ahead but I fully expect Lloyds to apply for a stay. I know what you mean about it being unfair, it does seem that way. It seems Lloyds changed their policies on paying out upon filing but us that filed earlier are sort of stuck in no mans land.
  6. God that is brilliant news You enjoy the guinness tomorrow !
  7. Well that is definitely very interesting indeed Makes me want to check my back account as we have court in a fortnight!!
  8. You'll have everyone on this board emailing him now!!
  9. Very interesting...... Dated after the test case announcement I take it?
  10. Here you go: Sechiari Clark & Mitchell PO Box 499 1-5 Queens Rd Quadrant Brighton East Sussex BN1 3XJ
  11. We are in same date as you but in Blackburn - we filed at the beginning of March and I will be so peed off if it is stayed!
  12. Who knows? They didn't turn up to one today and the judge ordered in his favour http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/96372-brucey-lloyds-tsb.html
  13. Mine never said anything about providing evidence on the directions from the court but I rang and they said I would have to send a bundle.
  14. What date are you in there? We are 22nd August....filed 9th March. Shocking.
  15. 'All you have to do...' LOL!!! It is quite a bit of work! Make sure you send a copy to the court as well and keep one for yourself.
  16. Good directions then Basically, it's the court bundle - now Gary told me if I wanted I could just send the Witness statement and index to SCM (but I didn't get directions). The good news for you is that it says: The parties must file at the court and serve on the other party no later than 14 before the hearing... In other words, you have to send them one and they have to send you one. Personally (and this is only me) I would get it all sent, full bundle. On the day after you should have got your bundle (ie 13 days before court), contact the court and see if you can get the case struck out on their failure to adhere to directions.
  17. No, when you got your Notice That A Defence Had Been filed, after you had filed your claim, did it mention that the AQ had been dispensed with? I take it that you have never received an AQ (mine was dispensed with meaning that we didn't have to complete one).
  18. Brilliant news that they didn't turn up - let's just hope they don't oppose it, or at least if they do the judge tells them to 'do one'
  19. What do your directions say from the court about providing evidence?
  20. My MCOL was filed at the beginning of March and we have had no settlement - court in 2 weeks for us. It seems that Lloyds have since changed their policy on paying out so those of us who have been waiting for ages for court may end up having to wait even longer now....hardly seems fair does it?
  21. Was it dispensed with?
  22. Well I am glad you are happy - and, it's £800 you would never have thought you'd have got back a year ago Enjoy it.
  23. Wow - maybe they are changing tactics now - first time I have known of that. Usually £750 is standard. Wonder if they will start offering 75% of monies back like some other banks do. Congratulations - are you pressing for the rest or not going to bother in the light of what is going on?
  24. Just bumping this - good luck for today, Brucey.
