  1. If they have no tax on them or not SORN'ed, can you just not ring the DVLA and this will sort its self out in a few weeks?
  2. If you parked in the Ridings or any council run car park, you would not have the problem. As far as trying to remove Excel? We residents are all working on that. Its all in the local paper.
  3. KeyserSoze83, Its all part of the scare tactics.
  4. Excel? Ignore any communications with them, as they will try all sorts of tatics that borders on harrasment. I think they have given up on me by now (12 months later). No court action, no baliffs, no CCJ's dispite the all the comedy threat letters. If they could take me to court, you would think they would have done it long before now. Under contract law they have to proove.... 1. who the driver was. You are not obliged to tell them anything. 2. there was a contract in the first place, that was broken. 3. what their losses were as a result of the breach... so 10min of parking is about 20p, not £40. All they they have done is paid £2.50 to the DVLA, and have written to the registered keeper. You will only get a CCJ if they take you to court, you loose and and refuse to pay up. They will not take you to court, as they have no evidence. There is no appeals process, dispite what it says. Ignore every threat they send you. It's costing them money each time to send you a threat. I reckon they must have spent about £200 on me alone when you take into account staffing costs etc. If you search for my thread on here you can see what will happen (or not happen) in the next 12 months.
  5. Ignore any future letters. Its taken a year for them to stop sending letters to me. Search for my thread. I had many a letter in different colours, and ones from a debt collection agency and a fake court document. If they want to take you to court let them try, they will not win if they do.... so they won't. They have to prove who the driver was, and that a contact existed between you two that has been broken. Even then they can only claim for the losses they have suffered.... for an hours parking its about 50p? Do you read the Wakefield Express? They are in there every other week at the moment with a lot of negative publicity. They are hopefully having the contract terminated soon. The local MP is also on the case. The many victims of the threat o grams will get the last laugh.
  6. Can't understand the backlash, you say? Yeah, right!
  7. You can ask BT to block calls from their number to your land line. Or if they ring back, ask them to take you to court and hang up.
  8. The DVLA will give the registered owners details away for £2.50. Thats for aonther thread, as it makes be mad just thinking about it. Drrrrr.
  9. If you take a read at my thread, it will make you feel better
  10. Well I've now got the address of HMRC, so I'm going to send them a copy of the letter. Freepost RSBT – YCYX – JYTK HM Revenue & Customs Tax Evasion Hotline Team Albert Bridge House 1 Bridge Street Manchester M60 9DX
  11. They will hassle you with "threat-o-grams" for about 12 months, don't worry about it. If they could have done it, they would have done so by now.
