All the letters have been written. Consultants for the husband from each department GPs letters occ health. All paperwork re diagnosis from each department with detailed write up on the treatment meds etc. Wife GPs letter with details on her treatment and meds. Occ health has even got a killer report done by the council saying they cant put a stair lift in due to how unsuitable the stairs are and full drawings etc. This is because some nights he cant get upstairs to bed. Tho they wont move them up priority list and they cant give them any propèrtys.

They are registered but its not easy to get a move. Needs to stay local to here due to work, treatment and the family are here. Also living on the worse road in the area does not help and most flats in the area that are ground floor are 1 bed but due to disability a 2 is needed. Bungalows well council might as well be non existant. For every 1 you have atleast 20 people waiting for it. They are not classed as high enough priority as the flats are mostly for familys with children. Most of the children are older but they have 4 grand children here. Then on top of that the further problem is if they move to far the wife would have to give up work and that is what is keeping there head above water and her mental health in check. They wont have the support network or a second carer of the daughter so the council would further need to move her but she is private sobthey cant just move her for no reason. They have been made aware of needing to challenge the decision and will be deciding what to do. As l hope you all can understand fighting this is draining and they have been fighting for a while now.

She wont post herself to embarressed to ask for help on this. Tho l have offered to help she dont really want to take it but has said to see what l can do. This has took months of trying. I even had to persuade them to appeal the no benefit and go to tribunal.

Hello All Different Neighbour and different issue. Fighting for a while to get PIP for hubby who is disabled. Basically use to be a long distance lorry driver. Has been diabetic for years. Had cancer then recovered. Over the last few years he has not been able to work. He has been diagnosed with dementia liver and kidney problems mobility issues and other issues. Pip initially rejected but appealed and got it. In the mean time wife who is working a few hours a week and joint carer for hubbý with daughter who lives next door. They get some hb but was paying the bedroom tax. Now the PIP is paying and back dated they get full housing benefit. Yes they should pay but the council cant move them from a 3 bed house to a 2 bed flat or bungalow as they have none. Also rules say they dont have to. Anyway the dwp has told them they should be able to claim back the bedroom tax. The council was charging for 2 rooms but they accepted that due to the disabilitys they cant share a room. They have asked for the money back but the council ìs taking there time. First it was we will keep it as that way if benefit stops we can use that. Then when was told no we want it back the council became all well we dont have to give it back and they have never refunded any bedroom tax then to today they were told the dwp person on the uc claim was wrong and they dont have to give back as its not in the rules and its un presidented. So who is right. Uc says them council says them.

Yes the police said burn it. Sounds mad l know but hey they know best. I just take the labels off and store them at home shredded until we have the next burning session.

We have a shredder and do shread but the police still advised to burn as round here you cant recycle shreadded papers etc. If someone is desperate enough they will put it back together. We use to just take of the bits that had name and address but they are now noting road details etc. They are not stupid on things.

I see your point over the booking fee. Why should they keep that when they knew it was still going ahead. I doubt tho anyone will agree that the service of booking a ticket was not done as you have yourself said you got the ticket.

Accidently stumbled across this and wondered if your daughter has noticed anyone poking threw bins or strange people hanging about. Maybe following delivery Companys when they leave parcels on door steps or noting down addresses so they can come back later. Only ask as we live in a high crime area along with area where a lot of people get put up in b and bs. Lots of people have been having issues with them going through general waste and recycling bins looking for letters or anything with a name and address on it. Went back to Amazon got the refund started and after they received it made a official complaint regarding the information. Today a person that claimed to be a manager called back. Neighbour has said that she quoted what Ethel said and the manager claims to have listened to the phone calls and that the agent has done nothing wrong and not advised wrong. The Manager has said that the 14 days is correct, but it can be extended to a further 14 during busy times as they have to scan each item back into the warehouse and check each item is the correct item that was dispatched or that the fault with the item is what they customer says. The also claimed that Due to the recent strike action by RM and Queens funeral they were behind on scanning parcels in. Personally, l would have thought that Strike days gave them time to catch up l did not realise they were closed the day of the funeral. I know the website clearly worked as people were ordering stuff and l put things in my basket

Direct debits for court orders can be cancelled and made standing orders. I refuse to allow any company permission to help themselves to my money. Standing order or internet/telephone banking or no business with me. I sent up Standing orders to Internet/telephone banking account details.

notice you have said you have 2 charges for petrol which one should it be as l am assuming that you are out of pocket due to the guy charging your card for the wrong one. Have you claimed it back?

Yeah it could be argued that every day is bussiness day. It would just help if customer services had the ability to be clear as they lady we spoke to was clear about the American rules just not the English.

So within 14 days means that what they told said was wrong. They said 14 days after they receive back and starting the next businesa day afyer the 14 eg receives back Saturday 14 days start the Monday when its really day 2

Same the last time l sent a item back earlier this year the refund was issued as soon as the item as scanned at post office. Tho l have mesaaged a few people l know use amazon.a.lot.who.told me they have been finding the same for about 3 or 4 months now. One person it took Amazon 6 weeks to issue a refund. They claimed they did not have it but tracking said they did.

I am going to suggest that but more my thought was is this legal and if not what laws can l quote. a breif online search yesterday came back with nothing really.

Hello Yesterday a neighbour came to me saying that she sent a item back to Amazon as it arrived broken. The clip was snapped off making the item unusable as it does not close. It was a tower 3 in 1 sandwich maker brought for her daughter going off to uni. Amazon has had the item back nearly 2 weeks now, delivered back the 20th according to RM tracking dropped at sorting office on the 17th. Called Amazon yesterday to be told they no longer issue refunds until 14 days after the item has been received back starting the next business day. Thinking she had miss heard them l said we would call them together tomorrow. she made them aware l was listening to the call and they were happy to go ahead with the call and again they said we don't issue refunds until 14 days after receiving starting the next business day. Inquired as to why to be told its standard practise in America. Advised we're Uk not America and that it is not standard practise here as all refunds should be issued without delay. She went on about how it is a American company and how they had to follow their laws, but l reminded her how the company is trading in the Uk and need to follow Uk laws. She has refused to issue refund as its not 14 days until Tuesday since they got the item back. Surely they should not be doing this as they are getting interest etc on customers money e what law can l quote when we ring back.

Interesting the yahoo thing as l have 2 yahoo email addys and never a problem like that and l have a ad bloxker and antivirus. I am not tech savvy but it might seem like kiosk mode has caused this problem.

But the scaffolding costs is in the painting. According to local companys they dont know what the design fee is for in scaffolding. Scaffolding does not need to look pretty its for saftey.
