Hi all, Does anyone know what SBT would mean on a mini statement that you get out of a hole in the wall ? (it is a form of transaction but dont know what) There is no list on the back (which there is sometimes) so cant tell what this means. Thanks as always

Hiya Lex, errrrrrrm !!! not doing too bad. Bit up and down really !! Still smoking though. Practice nurse said i can start again on the champix as soon as i'm ready. Apparently they only prescribe this to you once and if you fail you dont get a second chance, but they said under the cicumstances they will do it for me, which is good of them. I think i'll wait until may though as that is when the trial starts. Hope u ok

Hi all. First of all can i just thank everyone for all the good wishes and support It really helps u know ! We have now been able to lay my dad to rest, god bless him. Although knowing him, he proberbly wont until this whole nightmare is over. Some days i think "iv'e got to accept this, hes gone now" then others i cant even get out of bed to do everyday things. Anyway, we have got to try and concentrate on getting justice for him. We have a long battle ahead of us now and i know my dad will provide us with the stength that we will need to get through this. The ****** who did this has his plea hearing next week, which we have been told will proberbly go to trial and the CPS should know shortly what the other scumbags will be charged with. This has taken some time due to forensics. Hopefully one of them will be charged with cospiracy to murder. We'll watch and see. I'll let you know how things transpire. Moggieb, thanks for sharing your story. Can i ask you if this was a murder conviction or manslaugter conviction. I know it was a long time ago but i would be intersted to know. Thanks. louis, hi. Please dont feel responsible ! In a way i'm glad you started this thread as it was the start of me even begining to face up to this. So thanks for that The wounds are still very much open and raw so dont worry you havn't opened old ones. It has helped me somewhat to know that people are on my side and feel very strongly about the subject !! and if anything good can come from Gary Newlove's, my dad's or others death, then i'm all for that. Sorry if i upset you re-post 18. It was a link to the newspaper reports and when i got up the next day decided to take it off. I dont know why ? Ok, here's first hand experience of how these evil **** affect the lives of ordinary people who just want to get on with life ! I have been a cag user for some time now and havn't been on for a while, due to what has happened to my family, although i look in from time to time. I saw this thread and thought i would share my story with you. Just to say though Brassed off and Mr Lex have been PMing me and have offered loads of support. So thanks for that !!! On xxx December (just gone) my family were told that my dads life support machine had to be switched off because he was brain dead. He had been attacked and hit in the head (with what we dont know yet) 36 hours before. The head injury was fatal !!! The circumstances surrounding this (although cant go into it) is very similar to the circumstances to the case refered to by the OP. 5 People involved ranging from 17 yrs to 27 yrs. My dad was 60 years of age, 6 children and 13 grandchildren. One of the people was charged with MURDER and just over a week before xmas was allowed home on bail to spend xmas all nice and cozy with his family. What the hell is that all about??????? They have taken away my dads human rights. They should have theirs taken ! The thought of the **** bag getting on with every day things like eating xmas dinner, going to work, watching the TV, going to the fridge whenever he wants to eat what he wants. To go shopping when he likes ect ect. My dad will never do any of those things again !!! We still havnt been able to lay my dad to rest and its almost 6 weeks. He is still lay in the coroners mortuary in Liverpool ( i am from cheshire ). Harsh, i know but this is the reality of it all. My family are completly devastated and heatbroken. How dare they do this!!!! My life will never be the same, as wont his other 6 children and 13 grandchildren. No written words will ever come across how we as a family have been affected by this. **** bags like this should never be allowed to have a life again !!! Just as my dad cant :mad::mad::mad:

Thanks guys i will try to get the paperwork scanned up tonight. The paper for the loan is headed Default notice served under sections 87(1) of the consumer credit act 1974. Now the paper with the overdraft says notice served under sections 87(1) of the consumer credit act 1974. ( doesnt say default notice ) There were never any charges added to the loan (although the account did incur charges ) The charges were always taken from my current account so in effect the balance on the loan always stayed the same yet my current account was going deeper in the red Sorry hope you understand that .

Hi, I had a loan with the Royal bank of Scotland a couple of years ago. All was going well, payments made on time, only 4 months left to pay, then finished. Back in September when they tried to rerquest loan DD from my current account with them i was £13 over my authorised overdraft limit. Of course they wouldnt pay the loan payment and charged me 38.00 instantly !! which took me further over. Then they charged me 28.00 for being over my overdraft limit, ect, ect so on and so on :o This morning i get a default notice. FORMAL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO FILE A DEFAULT AND TO TAKE ACTION TO RECOVER DEBT. They are demanding i pay the loan arrears around £300 (which is the rest of the balance anyway ) and over £500 from my overdraft ( which over £300 is charges since September ) Now then, there is no chance i can do this. I'm assuming i will have to do an income and expenditure sheet and make an offer of payment. Is this right ?? I dont mind paying the loan but the other i do coz most is charges. I will be looking at that at a later date. Also i need to get this current account closed ( its not my main bank ) If i ask them to close the account so that they dont take any more charges are they likely to do this ?? Any advice guys, much appreciated.

Hi all. Just wondering what people thought My son is 14 now and every year i feel under so much pressure with all the latest gagets out and who's got what already. Dont get me wrong the pressure doesn't come from him (much) but society in general. Must have the latest thing and all that !! Yes i wish i had a money tree (as i'm sure all parents would ) Suppose i'm lucky in the sence of only having 1 child but god only knows how parents with 2, 3 even 4 children cope :o i'm tearing my hair out having to think about 1 !

Well !!! Just filling in the paper work for the FOS. Not heard anything from these people since the letter in September, saying i will hear in 7-10 days. That was nearly 10 weeks ago

13 WEEKS :o .Thats more than what your holiday entitlement would be. Are you sure its not 13 days. 13 weeks per child. If you had 4 children and they were all ill for 13 weeks seperatley then you wouldnt need to work at all in that year
