  1. Hi Jamberson, Thank you very much for your help, it has been noted. Thanks again
  2. Well I could not convince you about the situation, so I doubt I would any other person.
  3. Issued at 10.33 according to the website, as I did not retrieve the PCN from under the wiper arm. I am claiming I arrived back at 10.27, load tools and things in the van 30 seconds max I reckon, then waited for gap to leave parking area 30 seconds again, which is where I was at a stand still waiting to join the A40 for over 10 minutes.
  4. Jamberson, thanks for the replay, that is exactly what I am saying, I was at the location when the time expired, but unable to move due to traffic, then the traffic moved after about 20 to 30 seconds, where I was able to leave the designated parking area, where upon all this happened. In the photo img_1538 you can see the CEO's hand slightly blurred just above the tax disc holder, where he is withdrawing his hand after tucking the PCN under the arm of the wiper (not the blade), next to his hand you can see a pillar in the pavement, which you can use as a land reference between img_1528 and img_1562, I was the only thing moving inside the van.
  5. Thanks for the reply's I was unable to upload the last photo due to the 5 file restriction, so I hope I am able add the last to on this post. The other photos does make it look like the CEO is JUST doing his job, till you look at the last photo which clearly shows I am in the road with traffic ahead at a stand still. Even the CEO's photos show my van in the street which they are using as thier proof of me over staying my parking time
  6. I was working in a pub called the Square Pig in the mentioned road, I had completed the work in the premisses, as I departed at 10:27 I can see a CEO standing right next to the van looking at my ticket which expires at 10:27. As I opened my van to place my tools in I said "Am I to late, as its not attached to the van", I had no response but they were still looking at there hand held device. I closed the van side door, went to the front got in, and went to drive away and was held up by a car, so I could not move, that car moved after 20 to 30 seconds so I could join the carriage way. Below is the explanation I sent to Camden with photos "upon returning to my vehicle as my time for parking was due to expire very soon . I placed my tools into my vehicle, and proceeded to depart from the location from where I was parked, I was unable to move from the parked location for a few minutes due to other vehicles queuing along Red lion Square as the traffic on A40 was at a stand still (can see none moving traffic on A40 in my photos). Once I was able to move onto Red lion Square from my location, I noticed the officer approaching my vehicle, where I started taking photographs of the incident. You can see the officer's hand tucking the PCN under the arm of the wiper img_1537.jpg, and then withdrawing their hand img_1538.jpg, you can see clearly that the vehicle is in the road. And you can see the officer moving to the rear of the vehicle between cars in photo img_1540.jpg. While my vehicle was unable to move due to traffic, I went to the rear of the vehicle and also took photos at the same time as your officer (photo 1-1, mine img_1552.jpg and img_1557.jpg). I returned back to my vehicle and waited for the traffic to move, and again noticed the officer moving to the front of the vehicle and taking more photos (photo 1-4), so I also took some (img_1562.jpg)" In response I get "Thank you for your letter received on 08/05/2013. This Penalty Charge Notice was issued because the above vehicle was observed parked after the expiry of paid for time - Pay & display. I understand from your letter you are contesting the Penalty Charge Notice, but have decided to enforce the Notice. I have examined the Civil Enforcement Officer`s (CEO`s) notes made at the time of the contravention and they indicate that a pay & display ticket showing an expiry time of 10:27 was displayed. Vehicles are not permitted to park beyond the time shown on a pay & display ticket, and there is no grace period before a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued. I have noted your comments about other vehicles preventing you from moving but I regret to inform you that this is not a sufficiently mitigating reason in which to cancel this charge, it is the responsibility of the motorist to ensure that their vehicle is parked legally at all times and purchasing additional time to ensure that this is so. Further information about parking within Camden can be found at: www.camden.gov.uk/parking www.camden.gov.uk/parkit www.camden.gov.uk/cpzmap You state you were loading your tools, if you can provide evidence of the loading/unloading you state you were in the process of, the Council would be willing to review its decision." Do we have to prove our innocents these days? Any help would be appreciated, I do have a work sheet showing I was working in the pub but as you do, you round the time up, so mine says 10:30 as completing when in fact it was just before. Do I ask for proof that I was parked in the bay at this time, as none of the photos taken by the CEO can prove it, as they were all taken in the road. Bah! cant upload the CEO's pics as only allowed 5 P.S The PCN did not remain under the arm of the wiper, soon as I joined the A40 it got blown away
  7. Thank you every one for your advise. Why cant they just say "Show us your ticket and we will release it with a small charge, or none at all, as they took a picture of the serial number on the ticket, so they would beable to identify the correct ticket.
  8. I was clamped because my ticket got turned over by the wind (which was still displayed on the dashboard, when I was clamped). Even showing the clampers the ticket they still demanded the payment of 180, before they released me. I wrote a very short letter to the Parking Control Management , requesting my payment back, they replyed with a letter saying. "It is neccessary that the ticket be displayed so that the details are visable to the operatives. On this occasion the ticket was upside-down; therefor the operatives were unable to cheek if the ticket was valid. The conditions for parking state that when a driver parks there, they agree to pay a fee and to display the proof that payment has been made - The Ticket. Unfortunatley, you failed to abide be these conditions when the ticket was incorrectly displayed and the validity of the ticket could no be ascertained; therefore, your vehicle was liable to be immobilised." What else can I do to have my monies returned to me, as I paid the fee for parking, and a valid ticket was displayed evern if upside-down. Is the number serial number on the ticket just sequencial or time related? Any Advise appriciated
  9. Haa Haa they also sent a letter saying, I can have a reduced total amount outstanding, if I pay now. Sent a CCA in responce, to see what happens
  10. Damn, they could not leave it for 6 years, suppose 2 years is good enough. so here is the latest letter. Anyone know how to handle these people, as MNBA did not answer my last letter, and I suppose it is my own fault for not going through with taking them to court about it.
  11. Hi babybear, been reading your thread for sometime now. The best thing is your still here, and helping so many people with your threads and the way life is treating you.....Thank you, for making so many people feel they are alone.
  12. Hi Tigger12, I notified OFT on the 24th October about them, I received an email from the OFT on 16th November. Totally ignored CDI, and by the looks of things so have they. in case you need to know the people's names who are trading as CDI Credit Management Ltd...they are David Newton and Paul Hughes Licence No: 242467
  13. Hi Pabotto, Nothing has come forward regarding ways to stop these people from bullying, hope someone does soon
  14. Hi All, Yes I also think this is a scare tactic, that is why I want to scare them back...[edit). The debt was for a veterinarian bill, for anesthetising my brothers dog, which they have misdiagnosed for the past 2 years. And in which they kept on saying you need this subscription, and my brother forked out for it. Over the 2 years, he spent over £500 on drugs and potions for "able" the dog. Oh and they also state they are "Licensed by the office of Fair Trading (No:242467)" on the web site Credit Management
  15. Has anyone delt with the above mentioned company? any suggestions please...also look at the letter amount outstanding and the first page they are trying to claim for...from 75.94 on the letter to 945.33 on the front page of the N1 form. Then on the other side of the N1 form it says 78.38
  16. yougeman, I cashed my first cheque 14 days after it arrived, and continued for the remander......which came 14 days later, now I am chasing the interest they have charged me over the time in which the offence happend(compound interest)
  17. N1 time for them, it might sound a lot of money going out for it, but you'll get it back
  18. Anyone gathered up the interest rates charged over the years by each vendor? example Historic Credit Card Interest Rates - Money extra so people can use the rates for claiming compound interest?
  19. hi josie8 they refused, does not matter now as I have sent it back to them...thanks anyway
  20. well letter drawn up and posted, with the postal order, below is the letter..hopes it is in order...if its not then please someone shout.
  21. LBA first as your warning them, your about to take them to court, which also kicks their butts into action.
  22. just thought, I am sitting here going through my file for MBNA and noticed the postal order is still sitting here, where they returned it to me, suppose I could send it back to them, as a payment towards the remaining debt, rather than putting £10 in the bin.
  23. what if they are going for CI rather than 8% dont they do the CI at prelim stage?
