Hello again to all. When I phoned MBNA yesterday, they said something about sending them proof if identity. I can't remember whether this is for the transaction history or copy statements. Can anyone help or shall I wait until Monday to ring them again. I would like to know now so that I can send the appropraite documentation today.

please, please can someone help me. I also need to know if I just put the total charges figure or the charges plus the 8% interest in the box for total claim.

I have tried to send my prelim letter to Trinity Rd by recorded delivery. I sent this first class 03.03.07 and as yet it still has not been delivered. I faxed a copy of the letter together with a schedule of the charges I am claiming to 08451 281385. Is this the correct number? Was the Trinity Rd address the wrong one? PLease can someone let me know the correct numbers and address to send correspondance if I am sending it to the wrong place.

Receive standard reply " we are investigatin claim" 15.02.07 Received another standard reply "we are investigating claim" 22.02.07 Sent LBA 24.02.07 As yet no reply I have started to prepare MCOL ready for submission on Monday, but I am a bit confused. According to the template on this site, of which I am using, it says not to put the total interest at date of claim in the text of claim. What do I do. I have calculated my total charges to be approx £3500, and by using the spreadsheet to calculate the 8% bit, the interest comes to £562.50. Do I put this figure in the text bit? Please help.

Hello to all here. Just a quick question... I sent SAR 26.02.07, they replied 05.03.07 thanking me for my recent communication and that they will be investigating my complaint and give me a full response by 26.03.07. I phoned the number on the letter to inform them that I was only after copies of my statements for the past six years and was not complaining as yet. I was told that I would have to pay £2.50 per statement! I did send them a cheque for £10.00 with my letter, and they told me that they would not be cashing it and would only give me a printout of my transaction history the the past six years. Will keep you informed

Sent the 14 day letter on Saturday. Received today a duplicate letter from the Leeds people regarding my letter of the 6th. Are they stalling? Should I reply to this recent letter from them asking whether they are really replying again to the first ,or should I just ignore it and wait out the 14 days? :confused:

I was charged £150.00 in one month for "Total Charges" Is this £125 an old rate?

Hi to all. I have been visiting this site for a few weeks now, and sent a letter to my bank (HSBC) on the 6th February requested a refund of all my charges for the last six years. I waited and waited and in the end sent an e-mail to the servie quality officer on the 16th. In my e-amil I never mentioned the content of my letter, I just asked why I hadn't received any response to it. Amazingly I got a letter in the post, dated the 15th but not received until the 18th, saying that they are looking into the matter and will contact me with a full response as soon as they have completed their investigations. Today is the 23rd and still no reply. I will keep you posted as and when things happen. Good luck to all that are going through the process of getting a refund of these unlawful charges.
