I don't know if you have all seen this post

In light of this, maybe its time for us all to give a little bit back, for all the free help and advice we have recieved from this fantastic forum.

There is nearly 194.000 registered members on here. If we all gave just £1.00, that would help tremendously toward the defence costs.

We have all saved or been refunded some serious amounts of money with the help of the guys on this forum, its time to return the favour.

If we don't the forum will be gone and we will be left to fight our financial battles alone.

Lets show our support for a great forum and advice team.

Alf

I'm all for helping send a £1, but by that means the processing fee's alone wont be cost effective, i suggest at least £2 to make that £1.

That would cover processing fee plus any other costs along the way, and make the £1 worth it.

As i said in my post in another section, i wish them all the best in the case, and should my circumstances change in future, i will be sending funds thier way:)

The info here alone is priceless, and no doubt the help recieved is more than worth it's wieght in gold to some folk.

I willt ry and help out funds wise, but i cannot guarantee anything at the moment.

I'd already seen this yesterday evening Alf, & put my 2 pennies in the tin but this is SO important, I'm just posting here to make sure the thread stays at the top of the forum & gets everybody's attention. :)

Any knowledge I possess or advice I proffer is based solely on my experiences in the University of Life. Please make your own assessment of legality, risks & costs before taking any action.

postal order will be on its way first thing on payday!!!! :)

Good luck to the cag and its founding members!! For everything they have done for everyone here, I truly hope common sense prevails and you walk away un-harmed!!

My thoughts and wishes are with you all!!

I am rarely around these parts any more. I only stop by when something has come to my attention that has sufficiently annoyed me so as to persuade me to awake from my nap and put in my two pence.

It would be a sad, sad day, if the CAG were to be no more! I am sure with the wealth of knowledge and diversity of professions from the members of the CAG a way forward will be reached.Spamheed remarks nobody with a vested interest:rolleyes: unfortunately they have a great deal of interest:p:p Would an approach to one of our University/Law firms be a way forward as they do take on Projects as a method of training. I am sure all our Legal Eagles will have their thinking caps on.I will be donating ASAP. as I hope everyone will. GOOD LUCK.for the future CAG must come through this. "EXEMPLO DUCEMUS"

When I was successful in my hearing and received costs I wanted to donate then, however I was and still am unaware of the protocol. I still want to donate but not sure of the amount.

I was going to start a thread in the bear garden and ask "how much?"

This is my dilemma, I was awarded £225 (or thereabouts), what would be a fair amount to donate? Obviously not having a bean normally, this amount has done wonders for our finances this month but I have set aside a small amount to donate but am worried that it may be considered an insult.

What are your thoughts.

Advice given is my opinion only, I am not a legal or financial expert (far from it).

When my £25 costs cheque comes through from CRAPQUEST - I will send the money on to the CAG..... seems only fitting that CRAPQUESTS money should go to such a worthy cause! :D

And what's the betting the wealthy backer is a DCA like CRAPQUEST who have far more to gain by the CAG being out the way the the actual person sueing for libel???!!!

LOL, if only, snooziesuzie, at least there'd be some kind of commercial sense behind it, instead of being the spiteful attack that it is. :-|

The only thing I hope is that when they realise how much support this site gets when under attack, how many people rely on its continuing, some kind of morality will reassert itself and they'll give it up rather than hurting all the people who rely on it, but tbh, I'm not holding my breath. :-(
