I will be taking Argos to court on Monday but they are claiming that the OFT have said charges above £12 are unfair but charges below are okay.

Can I claim for charges of £10?

This must of been brought up before. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

I will gladly donate 5% of reclaimed charges to CAG!

What you realy need to know is does it cost Argos £10 to send you a letter?

If you can answer NO to that then chances are you have a good claim. But the smaller the charge the more risky it will be for you to hold your case together.

In a bunch of charges it will be fine, some charges I have had from Credit Cards are £12 & £11 (used to be £25), which I know are to circumvent OFT investigation and doesn't mean it actually costs them this amount to send letters, account being overlimit etc. Sounds to me like a last minute scare tactic, you keep going !!!
