Subject: RE: FSA Complaints Handling Waiver

Dear crfx,

Thank you for your email dated 3 October to Mr John McFall MP. Mr McFall has asked me to respond to you on the Treasury Committee's behalf.

The matters you raise have been drawn to the Treasury Committee's attention, although due to time pressure at the meeting on 9th October, such matters were not considered. The Committee may well consider your points when it next takes evidence from the FSA and still intends to conduct an inquiry into "Competition in banking and the future of free banking".

Thank you for your interest in the work of the Committee.

Regards

Well, we tried our best, crfx - do you think we should keep up the pressure to have them include it at the next meeting? I don't think "we may well" is good enough, do you? :D

I think it should be enough. As long as they get the picture!

PS I had guests for a long weekend last week and have been mad busy at work, hence the absence. Should be around a bit more now.

Thanks for that sergeant, but unfortunately we are no longer contacting MEP's, MSP's, MWA's etc, due to the fact that they aren't replying to our requests, & those who have don't want to support our campaign.

Hi Ja-de

I contacted Ed Balls (Normanton) quite some time ago by email and I finally received a letter from him today stating that he has written to Kitty Usher MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, to raise my concerns. He has stated he will get back to me when he receives a response..

Regards
