Hi all,

Quick question if i may. I have accepted an offer of settlement, including default removal the day before my court date. i recieved and accepted this via email. my court claim has now been withdrawn.

What happens if they don't pay or don't remove the default? is my offer letter and acceptance watertight?

Yes.. i'm starting to worry again!

Many TIA

MA

First of all, print out the emails, received and sent.

Then you have it in black and white.

If they have made an offer then there is no reason to suppose that they will not keep to it.

On the other hand, if they renegue on the offer, then your agreement to it means nothing.

You then take it back to court, adding wasted costs (for the cancelled action) to your schedule of charges.

The printouts of the emails are proof of the bank's actions.
