Hi to all.

Recently I was clearing out my loft when I came upon some old bank statements that belong to my Husband. They are dated from September 1990 to March 1992. I have totted up the charges levied on the account for this small period and came to a total of £440.00. This account has been closed for some time now and we have also moved house twice.

Is it possible to try and reclaim these charges?

The charges were £10 each for bouncing many many items.

Hi Icant,

Try this http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/31575-important-things-you-really.html?garpg=6

Look at Sec 32 para 1 (b) and see what you think

Could someone let me know the address to send a prelim letter to.

I have calculated the contactual interest rate on £440.00 (charges relate to 1990 - 1992) and the figure seems awfully high (approx £1700.00)

Also does anyone have a template letter which includes the s.32 of Limitations Act in it as I am claiming beyond the six year limitation?
