You dont need to worry yet about the interest. But if you used the spread sheets from here (vampiress) then it will add the interest for you.

I would strongly advise you to amend your claim, and claim the 8% interest.

The claims for CCI have been changing recently, as you will of noticed. There have been a number of claims that have lost the CCI.

 

But as long as you read as much as you can on the matter and know what you are doing, you should be fine.

 

I dont recommend people claiming CCI, but i hope it works out for you.

Overflow, you can ring you local court and ask them roughly how long the backlog is.

That way you will get an idea of when things will get moving.

You could ring them and see if they will up the offer.

It cant do any harm, and they do seem to be settleing a few claims this way.

 

They will probably offer you the claim amount with the 8% interest, and state they will defend the CI.

Yes, dont settle for less than the full claim amount!!

 

If you ring they might say how much is a satisfactory amount, and obviously you say, the full amount.

If you back down on the CI you might get a settlement.

 

If you dont get a full offer, then its thankyou very much, the claim continues and you send any rejection letters needed.

You dont have to finish your claim, if it is short, inform them the claim is still active till all the money is paid.

 

It is up to you, a lot of people do settle, it is a personal choice.

Then it should be a matter of days till the money is in your account.

For some reason it looks like they have sent you a letter that should be before or as you get your statements.

 

Ignore it. It obviously has nothing to do with your claim now.

 

You can always phone the court to see how the judgement is going.
