Hi.....I am new to the forum and have tried to get back mybank charges from Halifax who I have had nothing but trouble with ever since joining them, and to know tht I might possibly get my charges back would be a miracle and a joy!! in the past 1 mth I have been chrged over £300.

The trouble is tht I sent the first 2 letters and considering they owe me over 2k they tried to offer £181......of course I said no. Since then I have sent another letter to say that I am going to court, but have heard nothing in the last 14 days so I have to go to court (I have received the papers) but am not sure how to fill it in. Is there special wording or do you just put the amount down? HELP

Ok, I've just sent this e-mail to DLA Piper, what do you guys think?

Dear Mr Denham,

I have as yet received no response to my previous e-mail and letter suggesting that this claim could be be settled for the full amount out of court, therefore I am just writing to inform you that I have filed my Allocation Questionnaire with The Court Manager at Manchester County Court in order to comply with the deadline of 23rd August. To give you some advance notice of the contents on my questionnaire, I requested that in order for the case to proceed Abbey should provide a detailed breakdown of how their charges are compiled. I would be grateful if you could forward this information to your client so that they can fully prepare.

Yours sincerely,

Still not received a full offer, the deadline for the AQ was a week ago today. Can anyone offer any advice on when they'll be making a full offer? I'm seriously bored of all this now :(

God I'm bored of this now, started this back in April and still not a penny. Court date is coming up next month so one way or another this is gonna be settled soon, it's just all taking a lot longer than expected. Has anyone got any contacts at Shabbey who I can call to try and speed along this final stage?

Hi BG, I am totally bored too!! I havent even got a hearing date so your lucky, my local court decided to ask them to provide some details (they havent) so its taking ages for the wheels of justice to turn for me too. I keep saying not long now but I do wonder!! I wouldnt even bother trying to contact them, I gave up a long time ago, you hardly ever get a reply, and when you do it is a load of twaddle.
