  2. Just spoken to a lady at Abbey, very nice she was too, and agreed a settlement figure of £1150. If you want to hurry it along give complaints a call on 0845 600 6014, they're actually very helpful.
  3. I have until tomorrow at 4pm to provide the Abbey with the documents I intend to use in court (and the Abbey have until the same time to provide these to me, but as yet I have received nothing, shock). I will e-mail everything over to them and fax a copy. Has anybody got to this stage before? What do I need to send them?
  4. not good, it seems these things are starting to go down different tracks dependant on which court it is. I'll keep you posted on when mine gets settled.
  5. God I'm bored of this now, started this back in April and still not a penny. Court date is coming up next month so one way or another this is gonna be settled soon, it's just all taking a lot longer than expected. Has anyone got any contacts at Shabbey who I can call to try and speed along this final stage?
  6. I've still had nothing LL, no offer, no correspondance, no nothing. Got the letter saying that Piper's have been dropped but nothing further. I have reiterated my offer to the Abbey, with a 14 day deadline for receipt of payment if they want to settle. My court date is set for 29th November, so one way or another not long to go now.
  7. I've had a court date through this morning, my hearing is set for 29th November. The court must be busy what with all the bank charge claims being filed I've sent an offer to the Abbey, valid for 7 days from today. Will let you know what happens.
  8. I've just spoken to the court as I've received nothing since the AQ. They say it has come back from the judge and I should be receiving a letter this week. Will keep you posted. I will follow suit and send a without prejudice offer to settle too if I get the same.
  9. Oh well, I guess I wait for the same thing then, looks like we might get our money sometime around xmas FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Thanks. I'm getting so frustrated with all this, when you know the money is coming and they're just dragging their feet, I'm gearing up to buy a car with the money and it's just taking so long!!
  11. You're at the same stage as me, I'm 3 days behind you as the deadline for my AQ was 23rd August. I've still not heard anything from DLA Piper, but I'll post in here as soon as I do. Would you do me the same favour and let me know when you hear anything at all in my "Bring it on... BG vs Abbey" thread?
  12. Still not received a full offer, the deadline for the AQ was a week ago today. Can anyone offer any advice on when they'll be making a full offer? I'm seriously bored of all this now
  13. Ok, I've just sent this e-mail to DLA Piper, what do you guys think? Dear Mr Denham, I have as yet received no response to my previous e-mail and letter suggesting that this claim could be be settled for the full amount out of court, therefore I am just writing to inform you that I have filed my Allocation Questionnaire with The Court Manager at Manchester County Court in order to comply with the deadline of 23rd August. To give you some advance notice of the contents on my questionnaire, I requested that in order for the case to proceed Abbey should provide a detailed breakdown of how their charges are compiled. I would be grateful if you could forward this information to your client so that they can fully prepare. Yours sincerely,
  14. There is a guideline on the particulars of claim somewhere on the website, someone else could direct you to it better than I can...
