I'm currently in the process of reclaiming charges from LTSB and Bcard, so I know how the game works.

The problem I'm facing is to do with an old Cap1 card.

Now it's the fairly usual story, £200 limit bumped up to £800 with charges, sold to DCA and paid off.

Obviously I want to reclaim the charges from Cap1.

Now I paid this all off in early 2004, so its all cleared.

The problem I have is that since taking out the card I have moved house and haven't informed Cap1 of this, hence the debt being passed to DCA for action.

So my issue is how do I go about sending the SAR for this account ?

Can I just add a note on the bottom telling them what my previous address was ?

Cheers

B

Be VERY careful whose advice you listen too

hi curlyben when you send your SAR letter you need to include your name, Address of where you were living at the time, your D.O.B and some proof of ID. you should find that you get the info you need. i have done this my self with cap one and got all my statements with out any problems.

hope this has helped and good luck with your claim
