12th may sent Prelim letter requesting charges of £302.50 refunded. Got home this morning after a couple of days away to find letter dated 15th may, no admission of liability whatsoever blah blah, legal costs blah blah, sign our declaration and get your costs paid back to you.

Bingo!! - much more effecient than their parent bank who i'm still waiting to hear from after 4 weeks! 14 days after LBA runs out today so i'll be busy looking at the next stage for the next couple of hours.

HSBC - Cheque in the post for £984.40 (without admittance of liability)

First Direct - settled £302.50 (without admittance of liability!!)
