*recived a letter back sayin to send them a list of charges, in date amount and description order

when you say statement - you don't mean you sent statements do you? because they won't look at statements - you need either a list

a three column list oldest to newest with

Date Name of charge (as per statement) Amount

and then a total.

or a spreadsheet showing the same thing.

a list - even handwritten is fine.

i'm just putting all this for others reading it and thinking of sending statements - you say yours is in spreadsheet form - i don't see a problem

regardless of what they wrote - march on to the tune of the timetable - 14 days after prelim - send your lba with your list. don't redo - just move along. the 14 days have gone - send the lba. this is one of their many stalling ploys.

yea when i said "statement" i mean the spreadsheet of charges, its been corrected to how they want it, and the LBA is going back with it.

these stall tactics are just a waist of time, they should just cough up. :-x

  • 1 month later...

i think HSBC have had a change of heart over the past few months..

i recived a letter just a few days after sending my LBA offering me £850 back out of £943.. which im goin to take, as some of my charges were just out side of 6 years.. ** i didnt use dates i went by year, oops **

anyway, one more WIN for the consumer :D
