I've been browsing the site for about 3 weeks and since having to quit my quite well paid job, move back in with my parents, and take up a part time retail post paying minimum wage my charges mean I have literally no money whatsoever. Wages swallowed up on a fortnightly basis.

I only opened an account with FD last December so I have complete records of charges, and sent the first standard letter yesterday.

Wish me luck :|

btw - does anyone have any advice on where best to get a basic account so if they get shirty I have something to fall back on?

.lol. doesn't matter now received the standard 'Our charges are legal' letter through the post but the bottom half is 'mindful of the costs involved' etc and offered me £250 and is signed by hand by Robert Kernaghan. No confidentiality clause so a successful outcome within two working days !!

Massive massive thanks to Dave and the mods. You guys are my heroes and I'll be donating as soon as they deposit the money in my account.

/me mooches off to complete the survey.
