Halifax's card servicing facility is in Dunfermline, Fife. Halifax itself however, is an English company and their agreements are governed by English law.

I've got a dual claim on the go (current a/c and credit card) with the Halifax and that's where I sent my documents.

I do not have a telephone number for the DSAR team.

Me v BofS: Charges: £13,048.10 #2a/c Statements from 08/01/01 received. Charges:£5,156.39 Information Commissioner's Office informed June 12th who wrote to BoS, June 22nd for non-compliance. #1a/c: passed to BoS Senior Review Team. Discovered 2 further a/cs, and 3 Loan accounts. "Goodwill offer" of £7,424.23 06/07/07. Accepted (partial repayment). 20/07/07 Top-up payments of £2,558.10 & £1,154.00

£11,136.33 paid back thus far.

New claim issued: 9/07/2007 for 3rd account: £500+ PRESSING ON!

Yes, Money - I think HBOS view this as a game of cat and mouse and I suspect the constantly changed numbers, spurious names on letters etc. are all spoiling tactics.

 

Latest information I have is that the 'correct' number (for this week anyway!) is 08457 253519, followed by the selection of Option 2 then Option 1.

 

Will let you all know if I hear anything else.

they do not change their numbers to confuse people or muck people around. They are inundated with requests for refunds and are really strugging to keep up with the demand of providing statements. test cases are being prepared for court, so there should be and end to this one way or another soon

I believe that HBOS were actuallly using the line in reply to bank claims sometime ago. We are of course still waiting.

After years of white light torture applied by Banks on me, that just had to be said!!

 

Banks Pyschology will not work on me now. I have been deprogrammed by CAG!!
