Having found this site yesterday my wife and I have decided to go for it.

Having been regularly charged by Lloyds TSB and then every year they call me in for an "Account Review", whereby they try and sell me a consolidation loan, and/or extend the overdraft, offer a new credit card etc etc etc it finally caught up with us!

Having needed to commence a Debt Management Plan to get us out of the spirl it's time we tried to claim some back!

Especially now this year we are going to become parents - every little bit helps!

Wish us luck as I start the letter today.....

Thanks in anticipation for your combined support.

Hi SJA

And welcome aboard, initial advise is:-

There is a lot of information on this site so take your time and spend a couple of days reading as much as you can.

Here are a couple of links to get you started and i suggest you always keep them to hand.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/24031-frequently-asked-questions.html

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/31460-example-step-step-instructions.html

When you are comfortable start a thread "SJA v Lloyds" in the Lloyds forum as then people with specific experience of this bank can offer support and advice.

There is a lot of information to take in here so if unsure it is allways best to Ask first.

If you need a quick answer to a question you could always try the chatroom as there are usually some very helpful people in there.

Very best of luck

BB

Any advise offered is my own opinion, and if in doubt, always seek clarification.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/welcome-our-forum/53241-cant-find-what-youre.html

Make sure you fully understand everything before you start, you do not want to make lots of mistakes that could cost you money. ;)

Also very naughty of TSB I am sure they are not meant to be offering you further loans and cards when you are already in debt.... if you read the faqs im sure its all in there some where:D
