SS and I had our fridge break down in the last couple of days - well, it was just one, but I can't remember which.

Anyway, the agency sent a contractor round to sort it, and what happened... he turned up when he should, dealt with the problem, and left no trace he'd ever been here.

Fridge fixed - I'll be calling the Estate Agents tomorrow saying thank you for good service. We were both very impressed.

Don't you think we should thank good service at the same time as complaining about the bad?

Anyone else here had good service?

Yup - it's true. The guy came round, fixed it, and fu*ked off again. He was a gem, really professional, and whilst I was online I would never have known that he had been (other than the bloody thing was working again)

Top chap...if he is here, and he cares to ID himself, I will give him a rep point!

I had to attend a seminar on how to give good customer service when in a previous job. One of the things they told us was that generally, customers will tell 9 times as many people about poor service as they will good.

On an amusing note, we were all asked to talk about experiences of good and bad service: Most of us talking about poor service experiences were talking about banks.
