How come she has had access to the account?

Do you know where she is and if she has any assets?

@dx100uk

Also, what is his condition like?

In blunt terms, is he likely ever to leave the hospital

I have put a call out to my site team colleague @dx100uk who will have a better idea than me about your original question regarding he likelihood of the bank agreeing to a partial payment.

My questions were really around the idea of being able to recover some or all of the money from the ex-wife.

So I have to ask you, is it worth it?

How long will it take to clear the entire debt at the current rate of repayment?

If he has no estate then if he dies impecunious than the bank will have to write off the debt.

Oh dear!

Is there any particular reason why you feel that you should settle the debt?

How much of the debt do you estimate was incurred by the wife on her second card
