Hi, can anyone help?

My dear uncle was diagnosed with vascular dementia April 2022.

Since then he has been needing care and is reliant on carers coming in morning, afternoon and evening to help him.

He has a basic pension, attendance allowance and housing benefit pays for half of his rent.

Because of his low income a social worker has allocated how much time he is allowed to receive.

I have written to social services that the time allotted for his care needs is not enough.

Since April I have been taking time off work to see to my uncle because although the carers come in daily for an hour in the morning, 1/2 hr lunch and 3/4 hr for dinner it is not enough time to include all of his basic needs.

Does anyone have any legal advise about how to challenge Social services on this?

Thank you
