This is good news but i don't think it will change anything, what i have noticed now in the agency's property descriptions is that No Dss has been replaced  with ' Working professionals only  which essentially amounts  to the same thing, we're not renting to you if you're on benefits.

Although the decision will no doubt be cited in other cases a decision by a district judge in a county court does not set any legally binding precedent that other judges have to follow. It will need to be appealed and taken higher up the judicial pecking order to get a definitive and binding statement of the law.  Shelter's claim that "It finally clarifies that discriminating against people in need of housing benefits is not just morally wrong, it is against the law" exaggerates its legal significance.
