It should be long gone off your credit file, dropped off on the 6th anniversary of its default. 
 

They are lying to you , nobody has the power to restore a default on your credit file that has dropped off. Least of all a powerless DCA. Stop paying them!

 

just make sure they have your current address , so that they can’t do anything behind your back

I’d say you are being totally had by Westcott. £40 per month is a lot of money. Honestly if you

really don’t need it, plenty of charities are desperate for income right now. Anything but paying those parasites.

 

Westcott are not bailiffs they are powerless DCA’s who will not turn up at your door.

 

Bad credit is impossible as there is no trace on your credit file anymore.

 

As for Lloyds, don’t worry! Seriously. I got a son doing GCSE’s younger than that debt!

It won't touch your credit rating. Lloyds won't do anything. It's ancient debt, plus banks don't do court because it's seriously embarrassing for them if they lose.

Unfortunately however you feel . Every penny that you give to them is a waste of money. Any settlement that you give them is simply throwing cash away. You want it to go away? It’s already gone away.

 

As I said before there is massive hardship out there , and it’s getting worse. If that money is really burning a hole in your pocket, donate it to your local food bank, domestic violence refuge, homeless charity. Even go spend it in your

struggling local shops. Just do not, for the love of God give it to a bottom feeding, powerless DCA!
