Hi.

If anybody could help me out it would be much appreciated.

I owned a car and let my friend borrow it.

Hes covered to drive my car third party through his insurance company.

My friend had an accident in my car which was his fault and his insurance company settled it.

I went to renew my policy and was told I'd lost my ncb because of my friends accident.

Is this allowed

Btw my policy is a traders policy but car involved was on policy as my own car. Not one for sale.

Thanks in advance for any info

Contact your Insurers or broker. They may want confirmation from your friends Insurance that they settled the accident claim and they will deal with any further liability for the accident that may occur.

At the moment without the information it may be correct for the ncb to be withdrawn.

We could do with some help from you.
