Hi

I am not sure if i am in the right group.

Basically I asked a PPI company to check if there was any PPI outstanding.

They took my details and wrote to other companies.

I have received an offer of £50 from a bank and the claim company has asked for their fee.

My question is,

if I am not happy with their service and want to take the bank to the financial Ombudsman,

can I do that myself and just pay the PPI company their fee without any further involvment from them?

Thanks for looking and reading and any help would be gratefully appreciated.

god you've been here since 2008

and have used a fleecing CMC...you should know better

cag has everything here to do it for free.

oh well

I would write to the CMC

cancel their involvement in any outstanding claims

and pay them their fee for the one they've resolved.

also write to each organisation you gave them that you think you might have had PPI with

and tell them the CMC is no longer acting upon or with your authority.

else they'll send their results as well and they'll want more fees.

id be sending each one an sar

else you've not got a scoobies idea if any refunds are correct.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
