Hi all, I seem to recall reading somewhere that once a court claim has been filed (by myself in this instance), and my account is obviously therefore in dispute (with Halifax Credit Card on this occasion), it is illegal for Halifax to then continue to pursue repayments on the account until the dispute is settled...is this true? If so, can anybody point me in the direction of the right wording to read out to them next time they call? I believe I read it once somewhere on the site but have not been able to locate it today. HF acknowledged my court claim last week but have continued phoning me about my account - the claim is for more than my outstanding balance.

This would be greatly appreciated - I'm fed up of my phone ringing!!

Many thanks,

Andy

Ps I have though located the letter to send to them regarding the continued phone calls amounting to harassment and my intent to complain to the OFT and Trading Standards if they continue (rather than making all correspondence by mail).
