Person in van decides highway code does not apply to him.

Decides to drive on wrong side of road around a parked car on his side,

and then drives all along the side of my car....and blames me.

Despite the fact that he is clearly in the wrong

he will not accpet any responsibility and my new car is wrecked.

What next.

Witnesses?

Were the police called?

Any CCTV?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Did you take pictures of road with parked car on other side of the road and damage to both vehicles ?

May go down as a 50/50 without an independent witness.

Claim off your own policy by contacting your Insurers ASAP. If you have legal cover they might help you deal with third party and their Insurers.

No worth trying the van drivers insurance at this stage, where liability is in dispute. Quicker to get your Insurers onboard and to get the car fixed.

We could do with some help from you.

When you say wrong side of the road;

Are cars permanently parked along the side of this road?

Is there a white central line on the road?

Was he committed to passing these parked cars when you first noticed him?

I have work in insurance claims for 20 years and sometimes these cases are not clear cut.
