Hey guys, just a quick query,

I have a old account on Three between the dates of November 2010 and January 2013,

the account is showing clean until January 7th 2013 (the exact date it was closed)

then I have a £26 default,

February 2013 is showing as default but with the balance at zero.

I was just wondering if it would be worth contacting Three to remove this default?

As it was for a single month. (surely it should just have gone down as a missed payment if I paid late in a single month)

Thanks for any help you can be.

you could certainly question them as to what has gone on

if no balance was owing why the default

[or do you mean a D marker in the calendar section]

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

It's showing with a D marker and with a default date, clearscore and as settled, when I have paid late on other accounts one month I've never seen a default marker on the account before.

they shouldn't be registering a default [i e a defaulted date in the debt summary]

unless the balance was outstanding for 3 months

enclosed is a screenshot of the account in question from Noddle

(it seems to show more info than clearscore),

I have been on live chat with them and they say a payment of £25.73 on November 2012 was missed and £19.08 was paid on January 23rd, leaving an outstanding balance of £6.68 which was written off

(with no prior contact saying it would be written off, giving no chance to repay)

none of this is reflected in my credit report.

I will be receiving a call within 48 hours because the manager on chat was refusing to help me.

I have checked and Three are registered with the FCA, any advice to help me when they call will be appreciated.

Thanks for any help you can be.

PS I have received a transcript of the chat for any further action I need to take.

looking at tat you are correct

ok till dec

then jan they have registered a default as a date in the summary.

they cant do that

they must await 3 mts

and send you a warning letter giving 14 clear cal days.

before they register a default

its all on the ico website and searchable here

also

In addition if you did actually miss nov and dec 2012 payments and oaid in jan 2013, why are no and dec 12 showing ok? They should be marked as missed payments

Something definately wrong with it and worthy of a complaint to the ceo @ 3
