  1. enclosed is a screenshot of the account in question from Noddle (it seems to show more info than clearscore), I have been on live chat with them and they say a payment of £25.73 on November 2012 was missed and £19.08 was paid on January 23rd, leaving an outstanding balance of £6.68 which was written off (with no prior contact saying it would be written off, giving no chance to repay) none of this is reflected in my credit report. I will be receiving a call within 48 hours because the manager on chat was refusing to help me. I have checked and Three are registered with the FCA, any advice to help me when they call will be appreciated. Thanks for any help you can be. PS I have received a transcript of the chat for any further action I need to take.
  2. It's showing with a D marker and with a default date, clearscore and as settled, when I have paid late on other accounts one month I've never seen a default marker on the account before.
  3. Hey guys, just a quick query, I have a old account on Three between the dates of November 2010 and January 2013, the account is showing clean until January 7th 2013 (the exact date it was closed) then I have a £26 default, February 2013 is showing as default but with the balance at zero. I was just wondering if it would be worth contacting Three to remove this default? As it was for a single month. (surely it should just have gone down as a missed payment if I paid late in a single month) Thanks for any help you can be.
  4. If they can't charge me anymore and worst case is I end up paying it's only £14 and I could at least find out exactly what it's about (ensuring it's what I do think it is) and I know I would have nothing to worry about.
  5. Hello, I have just checked my credit file and there is a £14 default on it from Arrow Global, now from what I can understand they are a debt collection company. The only thing I can think of is an old mobile broadband account that a family member was using (and paying for) and I not sure whether they paid the final bill when the account was closed and I an not able to find out from them now. The account in question was went into default in August 2011 and I have not received any correspondence from them regarding this debt, and a £14 debt would have been something I would have paid off as soon as I received contact had they bothered to do so. What I would like to know, is would I be able to contact Arrow to question this debt, and find out who it was owed to, and if it's an actual debt pay it off. Also as they haven't contacted me and because I would have done something about it sooner had I known, is there anything they can do with my credit file to repair any damage? Also if I do contact them will they try to add any extra fees to the original debt, which could make it unaffordable, or would they just take the initial £14? Thanks for any help you can be.
  6. Part of me wonders just how much the DWP knows about the intimidation tactics used at job centres, as I said in my OP, I really don't think constant threats of loosing your benefits is a good way to motivate a job search, when you could already be demoralized. All I can see from their behavior is more people claiming ESA because of severe depression. I'm really tempted to put in a complaint, and get their side of the story, escalating it if I don't feel their explanation is enough.
  7. From what I have seen and heard, various factors can dictate how Job seekers are treated, anything from the mood of the adviser through to what office you attend. If they have been annoyed by the client (I refuse to use the word "customer" in relation to the JC) they might be more ruthless, their targets also dictate how they will act. The JC does have targets for the amount of sanctions they submit, and they will face disiplinary action if they don't meet them. Source So if you are at an office that doesn't sanction enough you could face more ruthless staff, possibly worrying about their jobs.
  8. All I can see that is relevent there is what Mr.P Posted. but thanks They will never get me to use UJM. Next time they try I might tell them my suspicions that it will one day replace the JC mostly (not completely because they will need to see us) Thanks, that seems pretty definitive to me and I will use it next time, any more ammo against them would be appreciated (if there is any.)
  9. Hi again guys, I did a search and I couldn't find this anywhere. Today I went to sign on, and I did what I have been doing for the last few months now, and providing all confirmation emails from applications, and all the emails I have sent out, however it just happens that these applications were all on 2 days, so because of this I get all the usual bullying from the JC staff "This is not enough next time you will bring a full log or we will sanction your benefits." and going on about how I should be using Universal Jobmatch as usual to record my job search (I will not use it outside of an anonymous job search out of principle). I was wondering if they are allowed to tell me how I will record my job search, and if they can tell me that showing them emails is enough, I really don't like the idea of writing down "checked xxx website, nothing relevant" time and time again (my situation limits the amount of relevant applications a little) It just seems very inefficiant and doesn't seem like a good use of my time. Also are there any practices set in stone that anyone knows of about how JSA claimants should be recording jobsearch, it seems to me like it's however the advisor you see that day wants you to (I saw someone I haven't seen before today). I'm starting to loose patience with the JC, if you ask me constant threats and bullying don't seem the best way to help and keep people motivated to effectively conduct a job search and keep your mind on applications.
  10. The higher up I take it, in theory, the higher the chance of something happening.
  11. I sent it to the head of work programmes, my next appointment could get really interesting. Seems like the DWP is doing more than my provider, they just say "It's the customers own fault, good bye" I didn't even get one letter from them because "we are too busy" I'm just sick of the excuses so I decided to take it as high as I could
  12. Just another update, I recieved an email yesterday with a letter attatched saying I'll let you all know what comes of it.
  13. I might try that from now on, and I will keep you informed
  14. I haven't been recording conversations, but I have been tempted, I aren't sure if the DWP have contacted them just yet, I noticed people looking at me whilst I was waiting, and the manager wanted to see some advisors, but no one mentioned anything, I'll see in two weeks when I have another appointment with them. Oh and it seems my advisor is leaving soon, she says it's because she has to travel a long way to get there, so she is doing the same job somewhere else, 3 advisors in just over one year, yeah... really trying to help me, I guess I'll be back to square one now.
  15. I sent the letter in on Friday (earliest I could) and I got an email today saying they will launch an investigation. They will contact me when they have some more information, my appointment could be fun tomorrow.
