I think you'll find that unless the payment was made under duress, it will be seen as having been paid in full and that will be the end of the matter.

 

Are you confident the amount demanded (£871) was correct? If not, you need to get a breakdown of how this sum was arrived at.

 

There are things you could try to do, for completeness sake, depending on how the payment was made, but I suspect any attempts to reclaim the money by your partner would simply be reversed in the future as she has paid a debt which was owed, as far as we can ascertain without any duress. I appreciate you mention harassment and the bailiff putting their foot in the door, but unless this was caught on camera, it will simply be one person's word against another.
