The Sheriff's are Coming was on the other day, a repeat I think, but not an episode I have seen.

Visiting a husband and wife at night time over 6 grand, woman claiming she went bankrupt - the HCEO (not Bob or Paul this time) again attempted to force entry by pushing past the woman who was stood in front of her door, surely this is not remotetly legal?

If you have to grab, or try and push someone out the way to get through a door, then that is not peaceful entry!!!

Sad thing is, they know so well they aren't going to be punished for breaking the law, not even assaulting debtors that they are happy to do this even on camera!

I have to say, these shows are really making it look like HCEO's have become as dodgy and corrupt as normal EA's, a sad decline.

Journalistic licence by the production companies to make it entertaining to the masses and jeremy Kyle brigade

Reality and production companies trying to sell their titalations. to main stream media to fill air time seldom compute. Take Benefits street, same production company. They got the people to comply by paying them in fags and McDonalds

And people believe this c*** is actually real?

Probably 1% real more like

The Production Company should be prosecuted then, if it is genuinely "set up"

Because the "set up" then wasted the time of 2 Police Constables for 2 or 3 hours, which is pretty serious, wasting police time etc.

I don't know how much is "real" and how much is staged, but certainly the event where Bob Pinner and Steve whatsit forced entry into the home of a businessman (which turned out to be someone elses home) was genuine, as the Victim/Debtor turned up on here looking for advice.

Yes I have been watching this and some of the antics are quite shocking. The bailiffs themselves seem to think they have some special powers in the methods they use to enforce. In fact the powers they have are contained in schedule 12 the same as any other EA. The power to use the procedure is conferred by writ warrant or enactment. (section 62 TCE part 3).

DO NOT PAY UPFRONT FEES TO COLD CALLERS PROMISING TO WRITE OFF YOUR DEBTS

DO NOT PAY UPFRONT FEES FOR COSTLY TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS WITH SO CALLED "EXPERTS" THEY INVARIABLY ARE NOTHING OF THE SORT

BEWARE OF QUICK FIX DEBT SOLUTIONS, IF IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT INVARIABLY IS

Of course the police will ignore any illegalities on screen as it is all Civil no doubt. it's about time the police stamped on these EA's and their on screen shenanigans.

We could do with some help from you.
