Think Benedict Cumberbatch has a real point. Why go to a live play or concert and spend most of it with your hand in the air filming it ?

 

It not only distracts you from enjoying the performance, but is annoying to others in the audience, puts the musicians/actors off and may see you get kicked out of the venue.

 

I have heard many musicians/actors complaining that it kills the atmosphere, when most people are filming, as people are partly concentrating on the filming, not fully taking part in a live performance.

 

Go to Youtube and you will find many rubbish videos of recent concerts. The picture quality is mostly poor and the sound mostly rubbish.

Will be there soon. Technology is now smarter than most humans. Of course it was programme originally by humans, but there is now technology (AI) where machines learn and adapt.

 

Will i am, the musician recently warned about the redundancy of humans, if they don't educate themselves in new technology and skills that are not easily replaced.

If you are in the stalls at a theatre you cannot see anything because of a sea of hands up and screens lit up.
